The Affairs

The detective took in a deep breath before addressing the wife. " Do you know why I have come to you Mrs. Kat?
She rolled her eyes before addressing the detective. " Because my husband was murdered in my living room while I was out."
" Ah yes and were you the one to find the body?"
" No my best friend Lilly who's staying with us was the one to find him"
" Did you see the body or talk to Lilly after the crime was committed"
" I never saw the body of my dear husband, but Lilly was with me for the entire day after my husbands death. Until of course her death from a heart attack"
"Is that what you observed or what the doctors told you."
" the doctors were the ones to inform me of how she died as I wasn't with her at the time of her death. I was with my mother-in-law instead."
" oh but didn't you say you and Lilly we're together up until her death."
"We were until 10 o-clock when my mother-in-law came to see me and Lilly disappeared."
"Well when you were with Lilly did she tell you anything about what she saw at the murder scene."
" No, she never said anything even when I pressed for info. All she would tell me is she was in an affair with some man, and how he was cheating on his wife with her" Katherine then started sobbing with a flare of dramatics.
" Would you like me to tell you what we found at the crime scene" the detective asked with an air of mystery in his tone.
The wives answer could barely be heard over her loud sobs. "yes please" she cried.
" well, your husband was wearing just a bathrobe before the murder. Their was multiple sets of women's clothing in your bedroom. We've already searched said room for prints showing us who he was with. Before we came to you we check his phone which showed us he had been having multiple love affairs one of which was with the killer, who we now know didn't just kill your husband. We have found the girls he was with's bodies."
" Girls? What do you mean?"
" You see Mrs. Kat he had been apart of a threesome before murdered. The killer had burst in on them. She was furious that she wasn't his only secret lover, which you would know about. You came home to find your best friend standing over not just your husbands body but also your two friends Amanda Wilkes and Sarah Shaw. You helped hid the girls bodies as you knew that him having an affair would cause you to be the main suspect. Later you listened to Lilly as she told you all about their affair and how she hadn't meant to kill them. You comforted her telling her it would be all right, before offering her a cup of tea. Now unknown to Lilly you had added a herbal poison to her tea. This poison is what caused her heart attack. You watched her die as you sat across from her in you herbal remedies shop."
