Lea stood up from her bed, her eyes puffy and hair on a messy bun. She walked to the main door and opened it, revealing Aga with paper bags of freshly baked pandesal. Like her, Ags is not on his usual jolly state, but he still managed to smile.
"Oh! Bakit parang mas umiyak ka kesa sa akin?" Aga said when he saw Lea that morning looking like a mess. "Mas nasaktan ka ba sa break-up namin?"
Tears began to well on her eyes again as she hug Aga and buried her face on his chest. "Hush! What happened?"
"W-wala na! He called it off too," she managed to say in between her sobs.
"Di ka rin ba papatalo? Ikaw ha! Wag ganun! Ayokong rebound," he joked, earning a slap on his chest.
"Tang-ina! Bakit kailangan ka niyang pagselosan," she confessed.
Lea was insisting to leave the dinner early with her boyfriend (now her ex), when she read the message of Aga. And like the many times Aga's name would be brought up on their conversation, Mike would alwaysgive her a cold shoulder, leading to their arguements.
"Kasalanan ko bang gwapo, bestfriend mo? Pero try to look at this, we are each other's end game din talaga."
She lifted her face and then shook her head. "Gago! Not a good time for your banats!"
"3 more years, Lei. Tandaan mo yan." He said earning yet another slap, but at least she smiled.
