Only ten more seconds then I'm eighteen and I can leave the dursley's

Authors POV

Harry got up after what seemed like hours he stumbled toward the mirror and he had changed completely. His hair was as black and the shadows, his eyes had changed to violet swirling with magic, Harry's skin was covered in tattoos gracefully painted across his pail skin. Then most noticable thing was a pair of elf ears, Harry's jaw dropped, then there was a tap at the window.

Harry's Pov

I whipped my head around when I heard tapping on the window, there was a perched tawning owl, I gave it one of hedwig's treats and took the letter, it was from gringots.

Dear Mr Potter,

We at gringots have become aware of your inheritance please come to gringots as soon as you can this letter is a portkey all you have to say is Dark Blood and you will arive right away.

here goes nothing "Dark Blood" I felt sick and then I was there, I sat with my eyes closed while the nausea went away then I made my way to one of the desks. "Morning Griphook" Griphook's head shot up "Greetings to you too Mr Potter," he replied cheerfully. (I know goblins aren't cheerful just go with it)

I followed Griphook past many doors after one last turn we made it to Ragnok, in the room there was a peice of parchment and a blade. I was told to slice my hand and let 7 drops of blood fall, I did so with out even flinching I guess all the beatings at the dursley's and the fact that I cut had made me numb. The parchment absorbed the blood and Ragnok healed my hand, words formed on the page.
