The Zodiac Academy:book 1-Scorpio

Chapter one:first day

Sarah wakes up from her sleep and realized it's the day for her first day at Zodiac Academy. She jumps out of bed and throws on her uniform. She runs downstairs, grabs a bagel, and eats it. "did you want it toasted?" Sarah's mom asked, "no I'm rushing I'm very happy that I'm in this school now." she grabs her bag and puts it on then runs out the door. She grabs her helmet, puts it on, and rides her bike to school. She saw a group of students standing in the school entrance and heard talking from somewhere. She walks in and heard her name called and someone say "Sarah you will be in the star dorm with other zodiac ability holders.", "Star? then where are my keys then? can I please get them?" asked Sarah as someone gave her dorm keys. She runs into the school and down the hall. She finds her dorm and goes inside. "Hello new Zodiac Academy student, I'm Lucky. A Leo zodiac student." said Lucky introducing herself to Sarah. Sarah unpacked her things and turned to face lucky "I'm Sarah. A Scorpio student." she said. She unpacks the last thing and gets up "that's all of my stuff.". as Sarah got up, she saw another student in the dorm reading a book. "hello." she looks at the student "h-hello." he said shyly but kindly "I'm Sarah and I'm new here" Sarah said "I'm V-V-Victor." Victor said "a V-V-Virgo." Sarah tells him "I'm a Scorpio." Victor looked at her "nice to meet you S-S-Sarah the S-S-Scorpio." he said "nice to meet you too Victor." Sarah said. The school bell rings "no! we are late!" yells Sarah running like a cheetah out the door and then realize she doesn't have a locker nor a book. "oh wait!" exclaimed Sarah "wheres the office?" then a girl walks by. The girl had brown eyes and brown hair with fairy dust in it "which one?" the girl asked "principal's?" Sarah answered confused "near the entrance to your left." the girl said "thanks. and whats's your name?" asked Sarah. "I'm Abby." said the girl "nice to meet you Abby." said Sarah "my name is Sarah and I'm a Scorpio.", "I'm a Aquarius." said Abby "bye!" Sarah said waving and running off to the principal's office. as she approach the entrance, principal Sun stops her "you know not to run in the halls, right?" the principal asked "yes I do know not to run in the halls. But, can you give me my locker number?" Sarah asked "sure.". the principal hands her a piece of paper that says "locker two hundred and fifty four." on it. Sarah walks to her locker and sets up a password for it and grabbed the book for the class after science which was math because it was too late to go to science class. Sarah walks to math class and walks into the empty room. Since she was early she doodles on some paper the classroom had until the class comes.  as the class came in she saw her friends Lucky, Victor, and Abby but as the teacher came in something just felt, off about her. she wore a grey shirt and has gray hair. the teacher spoke gentle like "my name is Ms.Mercury and I'm going to be your teacher for today." Sarah looked at Victor "doesn't she feel, you know, off?" Sarah asked Victor looks at her and answers "not really. But after you mention it she does." the teacher wrote a math problem that was kinda hard but not really. "its thirty hundred and ten!" Sarah answers out loud raising her hand "first of all, that's correct. Second of all, no answering a question without me calling you." Sarah mumbles to herself "now I know. Even know I really wanted to answer it" after. after math class Sarah walks to her locker and puts in her code and puts her book back and closes it to see Victor being the locker next door. "hello again." Sarah said walking to her dorm with Victor "before math class please tell me what you did in science?" asked Sarah "well." Victor started to speak "Mr. Earth wanted us to make a thing with a giant ice cube and some toy animals like penguin, a polar bear-" Sarah stopped him right there "polar bears don't live with penguins." Sarah told Victor "well he didn't care what animal we use but he did want us to use animals that live somewhere icy." Victor explained "then a heat lamp was added and we will check oh the ice each day and write about it.". they made it back to there dorm and Sarah used her key to unlock the door and both Victor and Sarah walked in. "Well your back late." Lucky told them "what held you two up?", "we were talking about science class." answered Sarah "because I missed it." then Lucky got up from the couch "well I guess that's fine because we are new here." Lucky said "I did also find our rooms." she pointed to a room that had Scorpio's sign on it and Sarah ran to it and knew this was the place she should have unpacked in. Sarah runs outside her room and grabs her stuff with the help of Abby who was also a star dorm Zodiac Academy student and placed it in her new room. Sarah puts her stuff away in her new room, gets into bed, and falls asleep wondering why Ms.Mercury feels so strange to her.
