My stomach has been feeling weird lately and I've been throwing up a lot.
Currently I'm at Walgreens trying to find a pregnancy test.
I find it and go to a cash register.
I give the lady my items and she scans them.
"Who's the test for?" The lady asks.
"My girlfriend." I lied.
"Oh! Good luck!" She continues, "Have a nice day!"
"You too ma'am" I say, knowing I'm not.
AT HOME
I had trouble figuring out how to use it but once I figured it out I finished my business and waited for 5 minutes.
I suddenly hear a beep.
I run into the bathroom and I turn the stick over...
Pregnant.
I start hysterically crying.
I feel so empty.
I can't take care of a child right now.. what do I do? I thought.
Fuck.. what if I'm a single parent? Should I abort? Should I give them up for adoption? What the fuck do i do?!
I decided to man up and text Stokeley.
ON THE PHONE
J- Hello
Stokes- What?
J- I need to tell you something important.
Stokes- I'm coming over I guess.
J- okay thanks.
30 MINUTES LATER
I was about to go to sleep until I heard a loud knock on the door.
Who the fuck-
They knocked again.
"NIGGA IM COMING!"
I open the door.
"Oh hi." I say dryly.
It was Stokeley.
"Hi."
I let him in.
"So what's up?" He says.
"So I was feeling weird and throwing up for the past week and I um- decided to take a pregnancy test."
"What did it say?"
"Just look."
"Fuck." He mumbled.
"Do you want to keep it?"
"Maybe. I don't know yet."
"I support whatever your decision is,
alright?"
"Okay."
He checks his phone.
"Oh shit- I'm gonna be late for this interview so I have to get going."
"Uh- okay bye."
I started admiring his new face tat.
"Are you gonna open the door or just stare at me?"
"Oh sorry."
I opened the door to let him out.
