Dinner was better than I expected it to be. We connected through limitless conversations about courses, professors, homework, and then about hobbies, movies, family. After dinner we climbed back into a taxi and rode back to the campus. The pitter-patter of rain fell softly on the car windshield. The rain began mid way through dinner, but heavily escalated once we stepped outside of the taxi. A look of worry began to spread across Olivia's face as we stood outside my dorm building.
"Is everything alright?" I pondered. "You seem anxious."
"Do you think I could sleep in your dorm tonight? Mine is across the campus." I was alarmed by her statement. A girl had not slept in my room since Peepa. My heart raced.
"I guess so. My roommate is on vacation in Zucchini so there's an open bed."
    "Zucchini?"
"Oh uh, it's in Alaska, I'm assuming you haven't heard of it. Obviously. I really just need to stop talking. But uh, yeah. You can sleep here." The beads of sweat along my palms rapidly multiplied as Olivia giggled a sweet melody.
    "Okay. Alright, thanks." she smiled.
