I started swimming three four years ago I didn't know much in swimming just a few strokes it was fun, I loved it. I started swimming at the age of 10 I loved swimming then,especially breaststroke and freestyle were my favorite strokes in swimming I participated in competitions in Accra, kumasi and my home legon it was great but school came in and it was difficult managing both swimming and studies. I was in a dilemma Hmmmm. I didn't know if I should choose studies or swimming. Swimming brought me everything I needed I. E. Friends, family and partners. As I said earlier I loved swimming and my best stroke was freestyle and breaststroke. I do swim currently but not for competition Sake just relaxation and now my strokes have changed so currently my best stroke is backstroke it relaxes my muscle and make me better when stressed out. Swimming is one of the sports which make an individual happy. My career is based on being a navy officer which includes swimming that's why I love swimming a lot. Swimming as I said reduces stress and makes one healthy. My team goes by the name LEGON SHARKS. We have an aim which is to swim for gold. Legon sharks is a team which trains children and people of different age categories to swim. We members of the team have passion for the water we always love to train because swimming is a healthy sport. We hold different kinds of training such as diving, swimming as usual which includes all strokes in the sport I. E butterfly stroke, backstroke, freestyle and breaststroke. We compete with other teams such as gh. Dolphins the main team of the land I mean our country Ghana, ombi swim team, anopaphins from cape coast and Ghana white sharks. We sometimes go to a foreign school called Lincoln community school to compete with other foreign swimmers which boosts our swimming moral. This is the beginning of my life story as a swimmer I will come with more stories about my swimming life.
