Kingdoms, various kinds, various sizes, various bugs and color. These Kingdoms all begin high above yet, are all built deep underground with various roads and buildings. Yet below then most of them, a creature moves it's way through the ground, eating at any prey in its way.

It burrows through whole mountains and across the foggy wastelands that stands between all Kingdoms. This Ancient "Wyrm creature lives on as one of the most ancient beings alive, a Higher Being, which is another term for a "God."

The Ancient Wyrm continues to dig its way through a mountain calmly yet, a huddle of creatures swerve around, underground with him, him. But, little did they know that they were dealing with a Higher Being, and this one had the ability of foresight. The Ancient Wyrm saw the actions the creatures wanted to take then moved backwards to avoid their moves he predicted. Then with a fierce slash with his sharp teeth, he ate the centers of the crawling creatures all at once. When he finished chewing, he continued to cut through the mountain.

Days passed into weeks, then into months and years, and the Ancient Being was beginning to reach his limit. Yet, before he can die, he needed to find a resting spot. Although the wastelands were rather much harsh, the Ancient Wyrm had luck on his side. He was tearing through the underground when he stumbled upon a cave covered in darkness with little light breaking through the ceiling. The Wyrm stayed still as it then accepted this peaceful ground to die in. As he slowly drifted off, he gained knowledge of the land he laid upon. The grounds, and the bugs in the tunnels all lived in the Kingdom named Hallownest, which was once ruled by the moths, with the King named the Radiance. Sadly, the Wyrm died knowing the Radiance, who too, is a Higher Being, has been deceased before his arrival.

After days of the Ancient Wyrm's death, the body of his finished making an egg withing it's own corpse. Then after just days more, the egg hatched, then out came a bug, with a mask surrounding it's face, his mask's top had the detailed looks of the Wyrm's mouth. This is the resurrection of the Ancient Wyrm. He walked out of his body then made his way up, to claim his opportunity, to be the new ruler of Hallownest.

He knew where to go yet, little did her know that throughout his travels as Ancient Wyrm, and during his death and rebirth, he was being watched by a simple caterpillar, named Bardoon.

After some good years, the resurrected body of the Ancient Wyrm succeeded with claiming rule of Hallownest. After so many years after the Radiance's death, the bugs of Hallownest praised their new ruler as the creator of their world. Even the moths themselves began to forget their dear friend, the Radiance, and started to praise him as well. He kept the name Wyrm and made himself known as the "Pale King," ruler of Hallownest. He built the buildings found throughout Hallownest as well as the Stag Stations, and Trams, having most of them bare a Hallownest Seal.

Currently he is finishing building his White Palace. He as well currently in love with his beloved wife, The White Lady. They both stand outside of the construction of the soon to be Palace.

"I wonder how we will build the inside." The White Lady questioned. "Imagine all the furniture we could have in their."

The Pale King stared on into the construction sight, then replied, "It will be spacious, but I wonder what I can be able to create in the lab they are building for me."

"Oh you and your project, I say you have a fond of that hobby. Speaking of which, i'm guessing your looking into that dark liquid we discovered?"

"Yes, yes I am. I'm very curious about it's power, when we ran into it, it was as if it had a mind of it's own. I wonder-" The Pale King stopped, he had a glimpse of the future thanks to his foresight. He saw light, not his light, but a radiant light, a powerful light. He saw it surround him, challenging his light, he then saw it all get swallowed by darkness. "Ermmm, never mind, I answered my own question just by thinking about it just now." Wyrm gave a warm smile to the White Lady, took her had, then walked with her to the new Stag station that he built nearby. "Let's go to the gardens which you adore."

The White Lady's face brightened, "I would love too!" She gave Wyrm a warm kiss as she took her seat on the Stag.

When they arrived in the Gardens, Wyrm guided the White Lady to her favorite resting spot. She loved the greenery that grew everywhere. She then looked to her beloved husband then asked, "Is Unn here perhaps?"

The Pale King replied, "No but I shall call him over." He then walked forward then created a bright light to float around him. After some time, a giant creature emerged from the lake. He has two beady eyes, which showed joy upon the sight of the King and Queen.

"Oooh my dear friends, how are yoouu?" Unn bowed his head to them.

The Pale King replied, "We are doing much rather fine. And no need to bow, you have the same respects as we do. You are the Higher Being whom made this wonderful garden in my Kingdom."

Unn looked over to the White Lady, "I'm very much happy to hear that you love my land. If you want, I can happily give you a piece of it in which you can rest anytime."

The White Lady's eyes brightened, "That would be wonderful, but what are my limits, I'll be sure to be fair with this offer."

As the higher being Unn, and the White Lady discuss their plans, the Pale King took a seat in the Temple of Unn where Mosskins were worshipping a statue of Unn. He sat in the corner, not bothering anyone, then fell into slumber.

When he opened his eyes, he found himself standing on a platform surrounded by bright, yellow clouds. He took a look around then felt the presence of a unwelcoming being. He looked around, then up, where he met eyes with a giant white moth, the Radiance. "Where am I?" The Pale King asked.

"You are in the Dream Realm." The Radiance replied. "But that answer isn't why I brought you here."

"Then what is your reason?"

"My anger. You took my thrown, made my citizens forget about me. You have crossed the line, for now my own kind is worshiping you. Leave the throne, allow me to be remembered and regain control of my Kingdom. You've built structures and stations, which is against my laws."

"Those laws are gone. You are no longer the ruler." The Pale King then lifted off the ground to meet eye level with the Radiance. "They are now my people, you have been deceased, I say you should move on and allow the bugs to do as they pleased."

"Your words anger me more, continue what you wish. But know that if you do so, my anger will overcome your Kingdom in a much gruesome way."

"Is that a threat?!"

"Yes, besides you are still a young ruler. You cannot live forever."

"You do not know who I am." The Pale King stood his ground showing no fear.

"Time will tell, for I fear no other God. Even an Ancient one such as yourself. Your are still weak compared to my power, you are barely the Second ruler of Hallownest."
