Ryu~saga

Chapter 1:The Beginning

it's a great day outside, Edward is about to set sail, when he saw young Ryu standing in their ship

"hey Ryu we're leaving, go back to your house"

"No way! Take me with you, I'll prove that I can ba a pirate"

Ryu jumped from the ship and showed his swimming skills, suddenly he got a cramp and started drowning, Edward came running to save him.

"That was dangerous Ryu, you could have drowned for good"

"No fair take me with you, Edwardl! My punches are heavier than you think!"

"Oh really, will it take me down when you do so?"

"Ofcourse it will!"

Then a thief came inside the bar looking for a booze

"who's drinking, and why are you out of booze"

"sorry buddy, this is all that is left, you can have it if you want"

The booze that was offered by Edward was thrown to him by the thief

"Don't you know me? I'm Bergen, I have 5 Million bounty in my head, don't ever mess with me"

Then the thief left the bar, after they left, Edward and his crew laughed so hard

"what was that edward, only 5 Million?"
"he's acting like he's something"

Ryu was angry because of what happened to Edward, and because he didn't fight back

"hey Edward, why didn't you fight back?!"

"Ryu, he just spill a booze in me, it's nothing to be angry about"

Because of anger, Ryu sat down, he saw the box that Edward was carrying around, he opened it and he saw a meat, he ate it

"Hey Ryu! Don't eat that!"

"Why?! I'm hungry!"

"it's one of the cursed meats, it will give you a power in exchange of your swimming ability, it's not like you can swim, but still!"

The meat was only one of the cursed meat that will grant the consumer a great power

Ryu ran away from Edward, but he suddenly bumpers into the thief from the bar

"You! You humiliated Edward in the bar how could you! My punches are like a gun!"

He tried to punch the thief "whaaa!!"
But due to lack of size Ryu was taken down

"you little punk, you think you can beat me huh? You can't even lay a finger to me"

He beat up up Ryu like it was nothing, then Edward arrived at the scene

"Hey thief, you can spit at me, you can spill booze at me, you can insult me,  it's ok, but when you hurt my friend, that's the thing I can't forgive"

Bergen's comrade pointed a gun to Edward

"you point a gun to me? A gun is not for threatening people"

One of Edward's crewmate shot the guy

"gun is for shooting!"

Bergen was shocked, "you monsters!"

"what? You think you're fighting saints? The ones you're facing now, are pirates!"

Edward fight the underlings and finished them quickly, but Bergen and Ryu was gone

Ryu was taken at the sea, "little kid, this is what happens when you defy me"

He threw Ryu at the sea where sea monsters live, because he ate the meat, he was unable to swim, suddenly a sea monster appeared and eat the boat of the thief

It was about to devour Ryu when, Edward came, he successfully saved Ryu but the monster is still there, but Edward glared at the monster, "Get lost" then the Monster ran away from fear

"don't cry Ryu, you're a man right?", "but Edward you lost your leg!", "it's ok Ryu, atleast you're alive"

Edward was setting sail then Ryu chased them, "Edward! Take me with you!"

"Ryu, you know you can't come with us", "I want to be a pirate, I want to be the one ruling the pirates", Edward realized something

"well", he removed his caped and put it to Ryu, "this cape is very dear to me, come and bring this back to me when you became a great pirate"

Then Edward set sail, Ryu was there and he shouted, "see you there!! Edward!!"
