"Lydia Branwell." She introduced herself to the blonde male. "You're quite the legend back in Idris." She held her hand out for him to shake.
Jace looked at her hand then at the three girls beside him, keeping his arms folded, before turning back to her.
"Don't believe everything you hear." He said as Lydia dropped her hand.
"Did you tell them?" She looked at Alex who stood silently.
"Tell us what?" Isabelle asked, glaring at the envoy.
"Lydia and I are engaged." Alec announced.
All eyes turned to the hazel eyed boy in shock. Allison stared at him as tears began to well up in her eyes.
"We're getting married." Lydia smiled at the group.
Allison felt like she couldn't breathe and she ran out of the room, wanting to be away from Alec as far as possible.
Aaliyah looked at her sibling. "Well done, Alec." She glared at him before running after her best friend.
Jace glared at the blonde in front of him before looking at his best friend. "You're not serious." He said.
"You were supposed to tell them no." Isabelle looked at her brother.
Alec stared at the remaining two Shadowhunters in front of him.
"It's your life to ruin." Venom laced Isabelle's voice as she glared at him. She turned and walked out of the room, looking for her sister and their very upset best friend.
Entering Allison's room, Isabelle found her crying in Aaliyah's arms. Frowning the elder Lightwood twin made her way over and sat next to them.
"Oh Ally..." She said softly as she and her sister comforted the heart broken girl.

That evening, in HQ, Isabelle stood by the monitor watching Meliorn be interrogated by Lydia.
"This is insane." The raven haired girl said, catching her brother and Jace's attention. "We have to put a stop to this."
"Oh well. He'll enjoy portalling back to Idris with Mom and Dad." Alec said as he leaned against the table, watching the monitor.
Isabelle glared at her brother. "Meliorn is here because of me."
"Alec's right. There's nothing we can do to stop this interrogation." Jace said before Isabelle turned to him.
