"That is not true. Even if it were, I'm not like that." The elder Lightwood twin looked up at him.
"I'm not here to talk about us." Meliorn told her. "I believe that's The Clave envoy." He saw Lydia walking towards them, also being escorted by two Shadowhunters.
Narrowing her eyes, Allison made her way down the stairs and stood by Isabelle as the envoy came to a stop.
"Isabelle, step aside." She told the rave haired girl before looking at the Seelie. "Meliorn, The Clave has ordered that you be placed under arrest."
"What?" Meliorn question.
"What for?" Isabelle looked at the blonde in front of her.
"And on what grounds?" Allison folded her arms.
"This is not your concern, Allison." Lydia said before turning to Isabelle and Meliorn. "Matters to be discussed. Guards." Lydia gave a nod as the two Shadowhunters escorting her, took Meliorn by his arms and walked off with him.
Isabelle took a step closer to the envoy. "Have you lost your mind?" She glared.
"Me?" Lydia rolled her eyes before pushing past the dark haired girl. "You're lucky you weren't arrested with him."
"What are you even talking about?" Allison followed her beside Isabelle who was desperate for answers.
"It's our understanding that Isabelle's long-standing relationship with the Seelie, Meliorn, may have led to the disclosure of state secrets."
"What?" Isabelle looked at the envoy. "Meliorn told me how to get into Hotel Dumort so that we could save a mundane."
Lydia arched an eyebrow. "And you told him nothing in return?"
Isabelle lowered her gaze.
"No one is blaming you for the attack. Meliorn and the Seelie were most likely working with Valentine all along." Lydia continued.
Allison stepped forward. "Valentine has been murdering Downworlders and draining their bodies for months. He probably killed those Seelie scouts and used their blood--"
"Do you have proof?" Lydia eyed the younger Wayland twin.
"Do you?" Allison challenged.
"I have orders. That's all. I never wanted any of this to happen." The envoy looked at the two young women before her.
"And you think we believe you?" Allison glared before walking off with Isabelle who gave a glare of her own.
