I slowly feel my eyes fluttering open. All I see is white walls, chairs, equipment, and hear beeping noises. I feel something in my nose.
I realize I am in the hospital. A nurse just then comes in. "Where are they?". "Your parents.....?".I slowly nod my head.
Her facial expressions change real fast. "No...." "No" I say again. "They didn't" I add. "Please calm down". "My parents just died and you want me to calm down".
"I'm sorry" she says. "I'm only 17 years old, this wasn't supposed to happen" I say slowly. "It's all going to get better" she says rubbing my arm.
This is it I lost them forever. What am I going to do. I got into a argument with my friend and we were at her house so I called them to get me.
Its my fault, it's all my fault. "Don't say that, it's not your fault sweetie". I realize I said that out loud. "I told them to get me" I say.
"It was a drunk driver, they found her. She was underage and everything but it was not your fault" I slowly nod my head as I feel a tear drip down my face.
"Don't worry about financial stuff or anything, they left everything to you" I nod my head again before drowsing off.
