"UGH!!! Damn pickle jars !!"
She growled like a dog. She then started banging the can on the side of the counter "come on life hacks you've saved me once you con do it again !"
Her mother came down the stairs and walked into the kitchen "Pickles for breakfast? Really ?" The girl stopped what she was doing. "Why don't you stop laughing at me and help me out !"
" fine fine." Her mother laughed then took the pickles and opened them with in seconds. She then looked at her wight haired daughter and smirked. She handed the Pickles back to her daughter then grabbed her jacket. "Listen I'm going to be late for work. I'm going to be back late so I left money on the living room coffee table if you want pizza. Don't leave the house. Don't open the door for any one and don't invite anyone over please." The girl sighed "I promise I won't get into any trouble." Her mother smiled. "I'll see you tomorrow morning Megan." " ok see you then." Megan said. She then walked her mom to the door and shut the door behind her. Megan sighed and looked around. "I've got the whole house to myself for the whole day ! Yassss!" She then speed over to the living room and turned on a show then she ran around the house like a little 5 year old " woooo hoooooo" but it didn't take long for her phone to start ring " ugh seriously!" She picked up her phone and answered it " hello?" It was silent for a while but then she heard a voice that sounded like a young boys.
"Ah! Oh! Hello! Listen closely I don't have much time to explain but you need to come into you garden in you're backyard at midnight. Please this is important I don't have anymore time but please you e gotta help me !" Then whoever was on the other line hung up " what the hell !" She dropped her phone then ran into her room and grabbed her bat then sat in her room with the door locked. " someone is going to kill me someone is going to kill me someone is going to kill me !!!"

6;00pm

She ordered pizza and it came quickly. Once she immediately opened the door for the delivery man then she grabbed the pizza handed him 20 dollars and said " keep the change !" Then slammed the door and grabbed her bat and hid in her room again. "I ain't going down that fast !" Megan said before hearing her phone ring " she looked at the phone noticing it said unknown "m-maybe moms j-just pranking me again." She picked up the phone to here the voice again "Heya ! It's almost midnight ! maybe you can come outside a few minutes early ?" She quickly hung up and threw her phone. After a few seconds she grabbed her bat and walked out side she looked around to see no one, nothing, not even a fly . And then she looked at a bush to see a small bright light . " what the hell ?" She stepped closer to see the bright light and realized it was a midnight light! But it couldn't have been hers. Hers died years ago but maybe, What if, Just by a chance, there was Hope.
