**The "soundtrack" ( a suggested playlist for listening to while reading this ) can be found on my Spotify. It's called "Novah Anderson" with a blonde PowerPuff girl as the pfp bahaha. Also everyone's ages are changed.**
Charli D'Amelio was soon to jump to the conclusion that, with her friends' helping people send out the invitations and set up for the party, and since she (Charli) had never hosted her own party before, that they didn't want her to be there. Charli understood, for her older sister and the most popular girl at their high school before she graduated a few years ago, always refused to let her help.
However, it did not take long for Charli's "new and improved" friends to call and text her asking her to join the "group discussions" (yeah, right) about the party where they conversed and chose the best options for decorations, music, food, and drinks through each other's opinions. Charli had hardly any ideas, since she wasn't must of a party girl. Her friends, nevertheless, had the best ideas, after all, they were known for being sluts at parties and knowing the best drinks for their fellow students to have.
"I think we should invite Tony," Selene suggested, looking around at Charli and all of her "friends". "Why?" Charli's friend, Taylor, asked.
"I don't know, just an idea"
A younger-looking blonde girl walked in, someone who Charli did not know. "Hi," she enunciated. "Hey, Emma, come over here," Taylor said. Charli watched her as "Emma" walked over, and joined Charli and her friends.
"So, we want calligraphy, hearts, and some pink marker," Taylor said, looking at Emma and Selene, while handing Emma the blank cards--most likely the future party invitations. "Can do," Emma said, taking them, and standing up, ready to leave. She exited the room, closing the door behind her. "Who is that?" Charli asked, looking back at her friends.
"Oh, that's Emma. She's a freshman," Taylor informed Charli. "A freshman?" She asked. "Oh, yeah. We saw her in art class and asked her to make the invitations. She said she'll only do it if she can have one," Taylor said. "Maybe we should have re-thought that," Callie, one of Charli's oldest friends, replied. "Maybe," Charli said.
"We can't have a freshman at our party. She might ruin it," Callie said. This took Charlie by surprise, for Callie was never the type to say things like that. Callie and Charli met about 6 years ago, and they are still best friends, they even have an every-weekend-on-saturday-morning-ritual. Charli goes over to Callie's house with doughnuts and coffee, and the newest "Kevin Hart" comedy.
Charli remembers when she was a freshman. Charli was the only 8th grader who everyone thought was annoying and very unpopular, so everyone was quite astounded when she showed up on the first day of her freshman year looking as fabulous as ever.
However, it is very obvious that it was not the same for Emma. Emma walked in, very shy, and scared of the popular upperclassmen. You could tell by the way she walked and her voice shook when she spoke. Her breathing seemed a little uneasy, as if she were scared that they would hurt her.
Charli grabbed her pen and paper, and looked through the invitation list, and surely, "Emma Mangan" was there. Charli crossed Emma's name off and showed it to all of her friends in the "party planning circle" and declared, "She doesn't belong with us."
