The One

Chapter 1 : Alice

Alice woke up to her alarm blaring. "Uh" She groaned."time to get up." She slid tiredly out of bed and threw on the first thing she picked up.a black dress with a white bow.

She went to the bathroom and brushed her teeth and hair.After walking out she checked her phone it was 6:30. "Shit I'm gonna be late!" She hurried and grabbed her bag and  a poptart  from the cabinet.As she ran through the living room she saw her mother passed out on the couch as usual.

She rolled her eyes."What an awful excuse for a mother."she said to herself and ran out the door and too the bus stop not caring if she woke up her mother.Even though she knew she wouldn't because her mother is hungover from staying out late partying last night.By the time Alice had gotten to the bus stop the bus had already left.She started trudging in the snow and eating her poptart.When she got to school the first   bell had already rung.Alice sighed knowing she would be sent to the principal and he would say the same thing he always says."If I were you young lady, I would stop being late or else I'll call your mother,do you understand?!"and she will say what she always says "I don't care she won't do anything."then walk out as usual.After throwing her books in her locker she walks to Mr.Marvins office.she knew she wouldn't be in her class for long before being called down.She sat down on the cold wooden seat and waited.After about an hour the secretary came out "ah nice to see you again ms.Angel,what have you done this time?"Alice pushed past the secretary and walked into mr.Marvins office.The office was small with faded yellow wallpaper that you could barely see because motivational posters where hung all over the walls.on the desk was many papers and folder thrown everywhere.Mr.Marvin was a tall thin man with green hair.He always wore a suit and tie that made him look like he was going to a funeral.Alice sat down in a blue bean bag chair in front of Mr.Marvins desk.Across from her sat mr.Marvin giving her the death glare.Before he could say anything Alice said "I already know what your gonna say.Your gonna call my mom blah blah blah." Mr.Marvin said "actually,you have detention after school today at 5:00 pm.come see me in my office after school and don't be late." He wrote her a pass. "Now go away." She snatched the pass from him and stormed out and went to class.
