Lizzie watched trees fly passed out of her car window. A soft tune of music was playing from the radio making the car seem full of joy. Then Lizzie's gaze fell to her parents. Her mom was looking at a map while her dad was driving the car, making soft dance moves to the music. Lizzie smiled. Looking at her parents made her happy. She couldn't imagine a world without them. Suddenly, Lizzie made a soft giggle slip.
"What?" Her mom said, smiling at her.
"It just love you, your the best." Lizzie said back.
Lizzie's mom took her hand.
Lizzie must have dozed off, because the last thing she remembered was a big crashing sound and the car lifting of it's wheels and going soaring through the dark night sky. The car landed front first with a loud clank and flipped over again. Minutes later sounds of police and emergances filled the place. Lizzie was hurt, but when she saw her mother and father in worse conditions her heart hurt even more. She was taken into a emergancy car. She wanted to scream. She wanted to kick and punch. She wanted to fight the straps around her. But she couldn't. Pain spread through her body. Moving one muscle felt like a billion needles cutting deep into her thoughts. She needed to help her parents. They were hurt. But so was she. The car door closed and Lizzie's eyes drooped down. She was tired. She wanted to fight the pain, but she was tired. She wanted to rest forever and never awake again.
