Bored - Angst(?)

I poked my head around the corner and gasped. I saw her. She was bent over a women who was bleeding. From my angle I could see a sadistic smile plastered upon her face. The victim's eyes held terror and pain till the remaining life drained away.

Julia stood up the malicious glint in her eyes shone in the moonlight. I was shocked and did not know what to do. I wanted to reach for my phone and call the police but I couldn't. Paralyzed with fear I could only stumble back a few feets a hand covering my mouth.

"I see you" her voice rang echoing around the empty alley. I was spooked. How did she spot me and what was she going to do with me. My ears perked up when I heard footsteps coming towards me.

Trembling with fear I tried to turn around and run but soon realised I was trapped. While I was desperately trying to find my way out Julia had already took out a knife twirling it in her hands and tracing it down my spine.

"Now, I can't have anyone spoiling my hobby... so ready to join my death count of 49? You shall be the 50th" Julia said as my eyes fogged up.

I could feel the cold metal being pressed against my skin drawing a little blood. I tried backing away from her but was flipped around harshly making me face her. She had a frown etched on her face as she pressed the knife deeper into my chest.

I opened my mouth to scream but Julia had stuffed a handkerchief in my mouth. Slowly but surely I could feel the knife pushed into my skin and I let out muffled scream. Julia just watched applying more force.

I felt the knife peirce through my skin into my heart causing all the pain I've ever experienced to be subsided. I felt my life drift away as I stared into the emotionless brown orbs that belonged to my murder. Julia removed the handkerchief and burned it infront of me.

My only thought was what caused this innocent baby to become a murderer? And I closed my eyes. Going into a slumber I will never wake up from.
