Beatrice Keswick hates her name. For a multitude of reasons but all with same underlying theme, it highlights how she is the greatest disappointment to have ever befallen the Keswick family. Her brother, the golden child, Edward Keswick the second graduated as Valedictorian from West Ham High School and was now studying and excelling in law at Yale University. Her sister, the dutiful daughter Victoria, played Varsity volleyball and just recently got offered a scholarship to study at Princeton. Victoria also volunteers at the local homeless shelter at the edge of town and bakes for the age care home and personally delivers them in the town over every Saturday. Now Beatrice Keswick, the youngest is commonly called the black sheep of the family. First of all ( and perhaps the worst one ) she got her mother's red hair while her siblings got her father's beautiful, dark locks.

      But besides the distinct and painstakingly obvious difference between her and her siblings, she's also the champion record-holder for most detentions in the family and she is also the record-holder for most tests with the big, red, circles F right in the corner. She's definitely not your girl-next-door as her mother so assiduously tried to mould her (no that label was all snatched up by Phoebe Beckett) and she's definitely not the golden child or the dutiful daughter.

       Betty Kez is the black sheep of the family, the town really. And she's totally, totally fine with that. Because being the black sheep has some rewards, namely, being the object of desire for a particular jock ( cough, cough Jason Alvarado ) and of course, the socially-imposed isolation and seclusion from the rest of the student cohort at West Ham High! Solitude was her best friend.

     But the world decides to flip the shit and they are stuck in the exact replica of their town except with no one else but their lovely selves, shit, oh and Luke Holbrook takes over the place of solitude and is trying to become her best friend?? Oh how the turn tables . . .
