In the year of 1370 a man of the name Little John became the second most wanted thief in all of London next to the amazing Robin Hood. Little John lived in forest called Sherwood Forest right outside of Nottinghamshire. This was during the time of the crusades when money and food were very scarce and many people were going to prison for being in debt. Little John, however, did not struggle with these problems for he was quite wealthy from the profit he made off the dukes and lords of England. The richest of all these people was Lord Michael, whom hated Little John most of all. Lord Michael had tropes of men looking for Little John day and night and swore that one day he would catch him. Little John, very amused by this, made Lord Michael his main target and would barely escape from him just for the mire sake of taunting him. One night, as Little John was walking through town on his way to the manor of Lord Michael, he saw three soldiers chasing a beautiful woman with a big purse strapped around her. Little John, being a curious person, followed them to make sure that the woman would be alright. When he had arrived, he was just in time to stop one the men from hurting the young girl in pursuit of getting the bag. Little John charged at the man holding her up against the wall, and with more rage than he new was possible, Little John attacked him. The maiden let out a scream as Little John fought off each man, saving her life. After the deed was done, he walked over to girl and putting his arm around her he, he asked if she was alright. She answered with a tear in her eye that she was fine and needed to get back home. As they were walking back to her house she introduced herself with the name of Elizabeth, he then kissed her hand and told her his name was John, Little John. He then proceeded to asked her why the men were chasing her, hesitant she responded that her father was dying and she need to steel the money to pay the doctor. At that second Little John was sure that he had found the woman of his dreams and all he wanted to do was to support her and her family. For the next several months, Little John gave large sums of money to Elizabeth and her family until one day, the terrible King Henry raised all the taxes almost fifty percent leaving close to everyone in debt. Little John, horrified at this, was walking through the forest when he came across a man dressed in Lincoln green and carrying a bow and arrows. Little John instantly knew that this was the great Robin Hood and said, " is it true, did you really steal hundreds of pounds of gold and silver from lords and dukes all in the same night?" With a smirk on his face Robin Hood nodded his head and began to walk off. Just then Little John had an amazingly stupid and yet genius idea all at once. He stopped Robin Hood and asked if he wanted to do something that would make them go down in history. Curiously Robin turned around. Little John continued with, "what if we took the money back from the castle." Robin, in total shock, asked what he meant. Little John began to get very excited and said that they should break into the castle and take the money that is rightfully the people's of Nottingham and get revenge on the king for his injustices he had bestowed on the commoners. Robin Hood accepted the invitation and told John to follow him. They went deep into the forest until they came upon a little hut that was very well camouflaged into the trees. They sat down and began to discuss their plan. They talked for hours until they were sure that it was going to work. They were to go that nigh to the palace, Robin dressed as a guard leading in the outlawed Little John. They got pass the gate and went into the palace and just as they were about to find the chamber were all the money was stored, they ran into King Henry himself. King Henry was more than pleased to see that Little John had been captured and wanted to see to it himself that he would die a painful death. This was the only thing that Little John and Robin Hood had not prepared for. The King lead them down to the donjon and locked little John up. Not knowing what to do, Robin Hood told Little John that he would follow the king to see if he would put the keys to the donjon down, return to him, and then continue their plan of stealing the money. As Robin Hood was trying to follow the king without looking suspicious, he saw a beautiful woman. Her name was Mary and she was the nephew of the king, but unlike a King Henry, she was just and honorable. Robin Hood, knowing this, pulled her aside and explained the situation and begged for her help. Without hesitating, she began to explain were there was a spare key and a shortcut from the donjon to the chamber of money. Robin did just Mary had said, found the key, unlocked Little John and followed the path that Mary had given to him. They brought huge bags that would cary the money but when they arrived, they was too much that they couldn't fit it all. They found Mary, hoping she would be able to help, and asked if there was a way to get it all out. She responded saying that there was an underground tunnel that lead to the forest and it had carts they could use. Little John and Robin Hood made many trips back and forth from the the chamber to the tunnel but they were running out of time. In a mad rush, the men pushed the carts filled with gold and made it to the forest. The next day Little John came into town and delivered the money to his future wife and the rest of the town while Robin Hood went to castle to find his love, The Maiden Mary. Elizabeth was overjoyed that she could now pay doctors and save her father, and the ret of the town rejoiced as they paid off their debt getting their fathers and husbands out of jail. The townspeople partied for days and nights, but little did they know that this was just the beginning of many adventures yet to come with Little John and Robin Hood.
