A Demonic Human

Rain poured down on the head of a women running deep into the forests darkness carrying a basket  tightly to her chest trying to keep what ever was inside of it safe from the rain pouring down around her.

She sucked in her breath when she comes to a slow stop in the rain. She stands there looking back and forth before setting the basket down and looking into the basket. She slowly pulls the cover back to reveal a baby's face. 

The innocent child was sound asleep unaware of her surroundings. The women leans in and kisses her forehead one last time before standing.

She walks over to the tallest oak tree and whispers,"please take care of my precious Lila, and find her a good home." She breaths in causing her to have a coughing fit and she spits out a little blood.

She wipes her mouth and begins to walk back out of the forest from whence she arrived. The baby lay there sleeping under a tree alone with no one to protect it.

When the women was finally far out of sight yokai came from every direction closing in curiously towards the basket.

They here a small cry of a child come from within the basket and the yokai begin to talk amongst themselves. One of the yokai picks the basket up and carries it to there home, as the others follow behind still filled with curiosity and others with hungry eyes.

The one carrying the basket turned into a shrine keeping the others from coming in and set the basket down gently in front of fox yokai wearing a blue and white kimono lying on his side reading a book.

"Master kia we found a child left in the forest by her mother. what do suppose we do with it?

Kia huffs annoyed with the yokai bothering his nice afternoon." Do what you please,just get out of my sight already."

The yokai nods and picks up the basket. He stares at the baby with a odd fondness,before walking out of the shrine with it.

All the yokai gathered around and instantly threw questions at him."QUIT!!" He yells at the loud yokai. They all fall silent as they wait for him to speak.

Yokai to self: there is no way in hell I'm going to tell them what master kai said, so I'm just going to have to think up a good lie.

He breaths in before speaking. "Master kai has put me to the task of raising this child to learn the way of the yokai..." He was interrupted by a familiar voice.

Five feet away stood Luna a powerful wolf yokai. With her shoulders back and her body in a elegant posture."lies, master kai would never want anyone to take care of a pitiful human child."

He furrows his brows with rage as he looked at Luna's grinning face."well he has,master kai always has something new up his sleeve. How dare you say that I lie about what my master says you dirty slut." He says it with so much venom in his voice that all Luna could do was stare at him in pure shock and anger.

He turns on his hills and begins to march his way back to his home leaving all the yokai and Luna in his dust. "GET BACK HERE DA!!!" Luna yells furiously. Da ignores her as he rushes off.

As soon as he got home he opens his door and walks in. He closes the door behind him and sets the basket down gently. He sits on his knees and uncovers baby Lila all the way. Her eyes begin to blink and she yawns with tiredness still in her baby eyes.

He gently rubs her smooth cheek and kisses her forehead."I'll never let them hurt you my little flower. He says in a low whisper to the dear child. He sits there watching her sleep slowly dozing off himself, until he finally fell into a lovely dream.  

(A/n): I'm only doing one chapter until someone asks me to wright more. I'll probably right five more chapters depending on when I can update so stay with me and I hope you like the first chapter☺.
