You did your best to try and not do anything to warrant the Dean's attention. You went to all your classes, didn't complain about any of the new arrangements, and was always on your best behavior.

Yet, that still didn't seem to stop him. As before, where every student was required to take a class in Surviving Fairy Tales, now, you were all required to take a training class with the Dean himself.

His class consisted of intensive training, vigorous muscle building, and extreme stretching of the body. By the end of each class, the result was always you gasping for breath, and covered in sweat.

Yes despite this, you could tell that what you had endured in that class was definitely nothing compared to the others. For some reason, it seemed that you weren't given the same harsh treatment.

One day, when the class had finally ended, everyone had been dismissed. You started to walk past him, but his hand placed against your shoulder stopped you.

"Not you, I'm afraid." His voice sent a shiver down your spine. You didn't meet his gaze, even though you could definitely feel it on you.

After you took a few more deep breaths, and steadies your breathing, you quietly answered him, "Okay."

You don't ever think you've been in a dean's office before. You sat at a seat in front of his desk, with your hands folded in your lap.

After making sure the door was closed, he walked over to his desk and settled down in his chair. He placed his hands upon his desk and stared you down with his usual smirk. "So, Little Mouse, you're probably wondering why I brought you here."

You didn't appreciate the nickname, but, of course, you couldn't disagree with it. You truly were nothing but a little mouse compared to him. You gave a short nod.

"Well," You jumped as he he slammed something down onto the desk, "I have decided to make a different arrangement for you."

You switched your gaze to what he placed upon his desk. It was a little pin of a black swan, however, it wasn't like the original crest of evil. Its eye glowed green instead of the usual yellow. You slowly reached your hands out and gently grabbed it. You looked up at him, and he gave you an expectant look. You quickly pinned it to the upper part of the left breast of your shirt.

"Great." You felt yourself grow nervous as he got up and started to circle around your chair, "From now on, whenever I need you for anything, that lovely little ornament will start to get warm. If you fail to meet me in five minutes, then it'll get hotter. After ten minutes of you ignoring my call, it'll start to burn and mark your skin." He stopped and leaned in closer and closer to your face as he spoke.

You eventually couldn't back up anymore, and watched as his face got closer to yours. His evil little smile never left his face the entire time. He got so close that you could feel his breath against your face.

Then, the door opened.

He quickly backed up and his smile dropped from his face. He gave a quick glance to the door before rolling his eyes and heading back towards his seat. "Good evening, Mother."

Your took in a quick breath as you quietly muttered, "Mother?"

"Good evening, Aric." You heard her heels as they clacked against the ground, they came closer to you, "Who's this?"

You trembled under her gaze. Perhaps those type of stares ran in the family.

"That, Mother, is my new assistant." You heard him approach as well. His hand shot out in front of you, and grabbed onto your forearm. He took hold of you and pulled you off of your seat to stand.

You continued to stare down at the floor, even when Aric had you stand in front of him to face his mother. "Assistant? What do you need an assistant for exactly?"

You jumped a bit once Aric placed a hand of each of your shoulders. "What does anyone need an assistant for? To do the things that I simply don't feel like doing. I am a very busy person, so this little lady is here to do the things I need to do, but don't want to." He squeezed your shoulders lightly as he spoke.

"Well," Lady Lesso grabbed her son's hands and lifted them off of your shoulders. "I'm sure that even assistants need to eat, correct?"

Aric leaned against his desk as he crossed his arms, "I suppose, you're correct."

She let out a small hum and looked back towards you, "You're dismissed, my dear."

You nodded and didn't look up till you walked past her. Then, you quickly made your way to the door and shut the door behind you gently.

You had never felt so much anxiety and worry release from your person that fast before. You put up one of your hands to feel your fast beating heart, but stopped as your fingers met cold metal. All anxiety instantly came over you once more.

How were you going to survive this year?
