Ch. 1 Rogue pups.

(Dawn pov)
Hi my name is Dawn. I am a wolf shift and part vampire. In human year I'm twenty five years old. My wolf's name is Frost. But she is quiet and we get a long great. My mother was a wolf shifter and my dad is king of the vampires. But that's in Olympus. Another kingdom that a little ways from here. I will be come queen though. My mom moved to the human realm. Because people were after me and want the crown. My brother Roger is living with me and Alpha Peter. But his twin James is living with my real dad because he is a pure vampire. Roger has more vampire than I do but is still a wolf shifter. But non the less the kingdom loves us. But mom remarried an Alpha so that I was safer. Although she died in a rogue attack a few years ago. Right now I am in my room, working on my work for King Draven, my father. Then Alpha Peter comes in. "Hey Dad." I said. "Hey sweet pea. We have rogues in the territory. Would you mind?" He asked. I am very strong and dependant. Among rogues I am known as the Silent Wolf and I kill any that are wanted, to close to territory or in territory. But I read their minds first and see if they have families. Because if they do I just run them off the territory. I can do that because vampires have unlimited powers. But we are very vulnerable to Blood's bane. It's like Wolf's bane but for vampires. "Sure Dad. I was getting bored any ways." I said and got up. He chuckled and left. I went out side and shift. I run to the rogues and I find two unconscious little kids. One boy and one girl. The boy looks to be about twelve years old and the girl looks to be about five years old. I shift to human. "Hey Roger I need your help. Will you come here for a moment?" I mind link with him. He was here a few minutes later. "Hey what do you need help with?" He asked and I point to the kids. He looks and gasp. I went to the little boy and squat. I run my hand through his hair and he coughs. But doesn't wake up. "Can you carry the little girl?" I ask. He nods and gently picks her up. I pick up the little boy. "Let's take them to the pack doctor." I said and we went to the pack doctor. Dr. Mart. We fill out the forms and he sees us. Two different doctors work on them. I went to the little girl first. "Please let me know when she wakes up and don't hurt her." I said. "Of course." He said and went to work. I went to the little boy. "Hey mind if I stay?" I ask. "Of course not Dawn. I may need you to calm him down when he wakes up." Dr. Mart said. I nod in thanks and he went to work. "Well he is malnourished, beaten up and almost dead. You got him here just in time." Dr. Mart said. Then the doctor working on the little girl comes in and tells me the same thing. I nod and she left. Dr. Mart left and I sit next to the little boy. His breaths now heard better and his heart rate up. Then he coughs and moans. His eyes flutter open and he gasp when he sees me. He sits up only to whimper. I guess at the pain that came with it. I gently push him back on to the pillows. "Just rest. I promise you're safe. I won't hurt you." I said and he nods. "Where's Ash?" He asked. "The little girl that was with you?" I ask. He nods a little. "She's with another doctor. But she's safe too. I promise." I said. "Where are we?" He asked. "The Red Moon pack hospital." I said gently. "Why?" He asked. "Well there were rogues in the territory and I went to desk with it. But when I got there I found you and your sister?" I ask. He nods. "And I wasn't going to leave you there nor was I going to hurt you in any way. I'm not heartless. So my brother helped me get you here and the doctors looked you over." I said. "What are you going to do with us?" He asked softly looking down. I gently take his chin and he flinched. But I make him look at me. "I will A adopt you or B let you go free. It all depends on what you and your sister want. But I will say this. Neither of you are leaving until you've healed properly. Got it?" I ask. He nods. "Ok." He said and I kiss his forehead. He cuddles with me and I rap one arm around him. I stroke his hair. "Now may I ask why were you on my father's territory?" I ask. He froze. "Sh sh I'm not mad. I just want to know why." I said. "We didn't know honest. We were just trying to get away." He said. "Away from what?" I ask softly. "Our Alpha. He and our pack abused us." He said. "Ok. I promise no one here will hurt you. Not while I'm here." I said. "So you'll protect us?" He asked. "I promise." I said and kiss his hair. He nods. Then Dr. Mart comes in. "He can go but he need sit heal." He said. "Don't worry that's the plan." I said. "Oh and Dr. Marry is almost done with the little girl. She said she's awake and needs you to comfort her." He said. "Ok. Let's go. Hey what's your name?" I ask the little boy. "Kota." The little boy said. "What a great name. Now let's go see your sister. Stay close. I don't want to lose you." I said and he nods we got up and he takes my hand. We went to the little girl's room and I open the door. "Oh good. Will you calm her down please. I can't get any work done." Dr. Marry said. "Well can you blame her?" I ask and Kota went to his sister. They hug while I talk to the doctor. "Now I'm done with her. She can go home. But she needs to heal and it would be best for her to move as little as possible." Dr. Marry said. "That was the plan. Don't worry. I will take care of them." I said. She nodded and left. I look at Kota and the little girl. They are still clinging to each other. I went over and the little girl got scared. "Why don't we go back to my father's place and get you two cleaned up?" I ask. They nod. "Where will we stay?" Kota asked. "With me if you don't mind." I said. "Ok." He said. Then I hear the door open. "Hey Dad wants to know where you've been." Roger said. "Why didn't he just mind link with me?" I ask. "Because he didn't want to make you mad and I'm hungry. I wanted to bother you about dinner." Roger said. I roll my eyes. "Tell you what I'll cook if you get those documents on my desk in two hours." I said. "Fine." He said. "Now go home." I said and he left "Now let's get you two home." I said. "So what's your name?" I ask the little girl softly. "Ash." She said. "What a beautiful name. Mind if I carry you?" I ask. She shakes her head no and I gently pull her into my lap. "I would never hurt you I promise." I said and she nods. I kiss her forehead and stand up putting her in my hip. "Come on." I said to Kota and he got up. He took my hand and I lead him back to Alpha Peter's house. We got in the door and I close it behind Kota. "I'm home!" I call and Alpha Peter comes in. "What took so long?" He asked. "Well instead of finding some idiot. I found a couple of unconscious kiddos. I took them to the pack hospital and when one woke up I ask why they were here. They didn't know. They said they were trying to get away from their abusive Alpha and pack." I said. "Oh. Well what will you do with them?" He asked. "Well that depends on what they want. But neither of them are leaving this pack until they're healed unless they want to stay." I said. "And if they do?" He asked. "I will take them in." I said. "All right. I can allow that." Alpha Peter said. "Thanks Dad. They will stay with me and I will take full responsibility for them." I said. "All right. Go make dinner." He said and I chuckle. I walk down the hall. Kota's hand in mine. I went to my room and set Ash on the bed after closing the door. I put Kota on the bed next to her. "Now I have to make dinner. You two stay here." I said. They nod and I kiss their heads. I then went down stairs and made pizza. I serve three plates and take them up to my room. I hand one to Ash and one to Kota. I eat my pizza and then they do too. I set the plates down and lay down on the bed on my back. I put my hands under my head. Ash and Kota come to me and I rap my arm around Ash. I gently make her lay down and she rests her head on my shoulder. "So what do we call you?" Kota asked hovering over me. "Call me Dawn." I said. "Dawn." Ash said. "Yes sweet pea?" I purr. "Why are you helping us?" She asked. "Well because you two are kids and all kids should have a nice life with good parents and lots of love." I said as I start to stroke her hair. Kota lays down and rets his head on my shoulder. I stroke his hair too and he relaxed. I pull the blanket on us and they fell a sleep. After a few minutes I fell a sleep with my kiddos.
