blame the hero

part 2

John turned around shocked 

"no one leaves a place like this without a reason so ill repeat myself where do you think your going?"the voice said this time with a more aggressive tone   

"not answering huh?" he said boldly "its like you've seen a ghost hahaha" he gave a disturbing laugh as he made his way inside as night creeped up from behind him 

"hold up!" John yelled but it was to late he rushed to the door but it was locked

"open up!" John shouted his voiced carried out in an echo throughout the whole town as the wind picked up a voice came from the other side of the door 

"come on in" John kicked the door down and rushed upstairs he saw a bright light coming from the other side of the hallway he opened the door and inside was an old man on a rocking chair humming a tune suddenly he stopped 

"so why are you here in Ravenswood?" the man said as he looked out the window "in an old abandoned town I used to call my home"

"wait your home? ...  this town stopped getting resources hundreds of years ago its a miracle your alive" John said 

"you see that building over there?" he pointed to an old building that was destroyed "that used to be the hospital ... I was born there and I've always been here" he said as a tear came down his face "I don't even remember how old I am that's how long I have been in this god forsaken place" 

"I'm so sorry to hear" John said in pity "I can take you back to-" he was interrupted by a crash coming from the other side of the dark hallway he looked back and didn't see anything suddenly Samantha came up on the walkie talkie

"JOHN there was a mass murder that happened with a serial killer named joe legend goes that they still see him around the area  ... GET OUT NOW!"

John was frozen he looked over at the old man "sorry I haven't introduced myself I'm john what's your name?" he said hoping that he wouldn't say joe

"my name is joseph"

"oh nice to meet yo-" he was interrupted again 

"but my friends used to call me joe" Johns heart dropped as he realised that he was face to face with a murder from the past suddenly 

CRASH John turned around as he looked back into the hallway he saw to glowing eyes piercing into him John looked back at the chair as the man disappeared 

"son of a bitc-"

the house shook as the monster charged at him he turned around to see his teeth as sharp as blades jump at him.
