How was Midoriya able to predict Bakugo's movements that easily? I began to think to myself how would I began to show off my skills in my combat training with Sugar Man whether we team up being heroes or villains. I don't even know how the outcome would be. I looked at the time left on the screen noticing that there wasn't much time left. I noticed Iida was on the upper level with the dummy weapon and Uraraka was about to sneak up to grab the weapon. From what I noticed, Iida seemed to take his role of a villain quite seriously, much respect however I pity Uraraka that she was spotted too quickly...
Back to the previous screen, Bakugo and Midoriya were versing each other once again. Seeing the look on Bakugo's face...I could sense Chizuku was smiling evilly over his explosive blast towards Midoriya. This was exhausting...seeing Bakugo going against Midoriya...I felt myself about to panic over this...Chizuki on the other hand couldn't help but laugh over the entertainment.
"What was that," Spiky Red Head questioned.
"He doesn't come off as a guy with a strategy," a voice spoke, "but he's actually quite intelligent."
I looked over to see someone next to me. Ok, this one was cute too...he was a tall young man with somewhat long hair that didn't pass his neck that was evenly split between two colors: white on his right-side and crimson red on his left by a slight bit. Only his right eye was shown which was somewhat brownish dark gray but his left eye was covered by ice. His hero costume consisted of a plain off-white shirt with matching pants and boots, with two gold-colored straps going over his shoulders appearing to be a material resembling ice covering his whole left side, even his head.
"What are you talking about," Spiky Red questioned.
"He changed his trajectory while in midair using a blast that doubled as a smokescreen," Ice Boy clarified, "very clever."
"A fade attack like that requires an extreme amount of precision he had to calculate the physics and demonstrate control over his quirk, " Momo added.
Fascinating tactic Bakugo...but once again...watching him beating down Midoriya...I can't look but at the same time...why I do feel like watching this till the very end? Suddenly Bakugo and Midoriya charged towards one another in what looked like they're about to cause serious damage towards one another...but then...
"URARAKA NOW," Midoriya ordered.
Wait what? That move...Midoriya did this??? That was his plan this whole time? When did he get this strong? Just like that Midoriya and Uraraka passed.
"The Hero team wins," All Might announced.
Everyone was flabbergasted. This was only just the beginning. I noticed Bakugo hadn't moved ever since the match ended...I was beginning to subconsciously worry about him. To see him be defeated by someone like Midoriya...was something quite unheard of...However, seeing how this was executed, I don't think this was planned out, come to think of it, if Uraraka was seen mid battle by Iida when going to capture the weapon and thought of a better strategy with Midoriya to either obtain the weapon or capture Iida while Bakugo was injured or distracted, they would have a better chance of having a better performance. Then there was Bakugo; he looked as if he had some sort of grudge towards Midoriya for whatever reason I may not know and because of that, if he were to keep this behavior up; all this pent up anger and rage, it would potentionally be his downfall. As for Midoriya, to even pass it was at the cost of him getting seriously injured when he doesn't have full control on his quirk. Not quite planned out I suppose.
Meanwhile
"Well despite the results," All Might began, "the MVP of the exercise was young Iida!"
"Shouldn't it be one of the heroes instead since they're the winners," Green Girl asked.
"Hmmm valid question, why didn't I choose one of the those two? Who has a guess?"
"Sir," Momo proposed, "I can tell you why. Iida embraced the challenge. He was the only one who truly adapted his assigned role. I'll explain, Bakugo's judgment was clouded by a personal grudge against Midoriya. As you pointed out earlier, launching a large scaled attack indoors was a foolish move, it could have disastrous. Similarly, Midoriya's plan was also poorly thought out, considering the amount of damage he received. He rendered himself helpless. Not smart. As for Uraraka, she let her guard down mid battle, her final attack was far too reckless given the hypothetical stakes. If she treated the fake weapon as though it were real, she never would have risked using an imprecise move. Iida was fully prepared for his opponent arrival. He had a strategy and never lost sight of his mission to protect the dummy weapon even if he was foiled in the end. Technically the hero team won, yes but they took advantage at the fact that this was training. I didn't respect the spirit of the trial."
A small smile grew on my face. Could've said it better myself Yaoyorozu, at least one of us caught onto it. Glad I'm friends with her. As time went by, the matches continued on one by one with everyone passing through their matches. Some of the teams who were heroes won, while some who were the villains were successful. Then it was Sugar Man and I versing against Alien Girl and Flamboyant Boy. I was really unsure of how it was going to go but I had a gut feeling Chizuki wanted to come out. I had to put on my mask to play the villain and take the role seriously.
Fortunately, long story short, I was able to use my quirk to constrict them both from getting to the weapon giving Sugar Man and I the victory. Though we were the villains, it felt good that we were able to come up with a strategy to foil their plans to capture us.
End of the Training
"That's a wrap super work! You really step up to the plate and you didn't have any major injuries except for Midoriya," All Might praised, "you should be proud! Excellent first day of training all around!"
"It's nice to hear some encouraging words after our homeroom class Mr Aizawa was kind of a buzzkill," Green Girl spoke.
"I'm happy to bring such staggering positivity to my alma mater," All Might smiled, "that's all for now folks! I should go check on young Midoriya's progress. Now watch how a Pro exits like he's got somewhere to be!"
Ok...that was weird...I looked to Bakugo who still continued to look down at the ground.
"Bakugo..." I whispered to myself.
Ok, seriously why the hell am I even worried about Bomb Boy?! What the actual fuck?! Later that day, we continued the rest of our day with our classes. In my mind, I began to wonder how Midoriya was doing, after the Hero Basic Training...hope he's doing fine...deep down I felt like he taught me something. Despite being seeing as ordinary, there was potential that was dormant. Maybe Midoriya really does have what it takes to become a hero...
Once class was dismissed, I thought about staying to check on Midoriya but I decided to head home along with Momo to pick up Hiro from school. Once again, day two was coming to a close. I survived another day. Glad things went well...for now...
*Long chapter, sorry for the long break! Been busy with writing and working on my other fanfiction but will be working on both as much as I can! Much love and many thanks! Cheers!
