"The portals almost done. Eth, you gotta get outta here."
HazahMaster fiddles with the tools he used his whole life for his inventions. DarkBox and Kadi looked at eachother with concern, their expression bouncing off of one another.
"We can't give up! Not now."
HazahMaster looked at him with a weak expression. He knew how much this meant to him.
"Listen to me, Eth. It's all gone. We have to leave or else Doom and the others will find us."
"But—"
"Eth please. Barely anybody made it out. Not even Void could handle it. We have to go."
DarkBox glanced over to their conversation when he heard the mention of his younger brother. The person he fought for so long all because he couldn't save him. Even when he was pulled away, watching cyberdark turn him to shreds, he couldn't save him then.
He couldn't even think about it.
Right when the portal activitated, Eth ran straight to the portal. Without thinking, without saying goodbye. He couldn't believe what was happening. Everything he worked so hard for is gone. All the dimensions, they we're either destroyed or burned to the ground. They we're too late.
As he stepped into the portal, his eyes filled with bright color, turning his vision warm. All he could see we're colors as the sound blurred out from his head, all around him.
Lights.
Flashing lights.
"Wake up, Eth."
A monotone, but mellow voice of a woman woke the young man up to reality.
"You fell asleep in the middle of a letsplay. Again. Are you sure you are feeling okay?"
"Janice..." Eth slurred up from his chair.
"Janice. I have a question."
She waited for him to speak.
"Was my life always like this? Do you think I was more than just this?"
"I think you need more sleep."
"No, Janice."
"Something happened a long time ago, I can feel it. I've been having the same dream for weeks now. I keep remembering things that are just so... unordinary. It has to be real."
The ai was captured by his words. He's been pretty healthy as of this week, the only flaw of his was this dream. It couldn't be real, could it?
Eth stumbled in his words, trying to remember.
"There we're people in the dream, three... four... they we're in different dimensions.."
He stumbled around in different names and words, until it finally came to them.
"I have to see my crew again."
