This story will involve first person perspective, something I don't do. To make it easier I will involve "--C/N's POV--" To distinguish who is talking, without further ado, let's go.
--Petra's POV--
"Have a good day at school," my father said as I left his car. This is the first time I've ever been to a public school, so of course I'm nervous! I'm Petra Lightvale, I'm a monster of course! I've heard the stories about the mythical Mount Ebott, about how one person freed all of the monsters. I heard a story about it's collapse as well.
As I walked onto the campus, the building dominated my view, a large, brick building with many windows. I was sure to get lost. But I got some advice from a student I didn't even know
"New here?" He asked.
"Yeah, I'm in 8th grade," I replied.
"Third floor is where most of your classrooms are, you're welcome," The boy asked before the walked off. He was human, probably with the facial hair, I assume he was in high school.
The student were well in their groups, I saw little kids on the playground, playing hopscotch, or playing four-square. I saw people roughly my age hanging around and burning off some energy. I saw high schoolers hanging out and playing games on their phone.
I soon realized that the floors we're used by age range, make everything easier I guess, just as I settled, the bell rang.
