4 ~ Last chance (F.S part 2)

The demon turned towards me, showing me his left hand as he squeezed Makomo. I attempted to slice his hand. But nothing happened. He then threw Makomo somewhere within the trees.

Giyuu's POV:
"Y/n!" I screamed,

She was just standing there looking at the demon. If she had stood there for any longer she'd be dead!

I took her in with my arms and hid her within the trees.

"Oi! Baka y/n!"

Y/n blinked a few times but her face didn't change.

"Hey are you alright? Now's not the time to be daydreaming!"

Then she started to shiver. Her entire body was frozen, yet it moved ever so slightly. Her expression showed that she was scared.

"Hey, hey...are you cold or something?"

I pushed her towards me and took her into a hug. Her skin was cold and white.

Was she scared?

Y/n murmured something in my chest,
"Giyuu...do you smell that?"

Confused I sniffed the air, it must be the demon's scent she smelled. Especially since she was up close to it.

"Hey if your not gonna fight you stay here,"

"I-i can fight! I just..."

" not in that state you can't, you look scared y/n"

I quickly got up, but she tugged onto my sleeve.

"At least let me heal you"

She put her hands on either side of my cheeks and healed my scars. Then I went off find Sabito.

Sabito's POV:

After screaming out Makomo's name, Giyuu appears on my side. We both slice an arm of the demon's side and watch in horror as the limbs regrow.
I manage to say a few things while blocking the demon's blows.

"Where's y/n!?"

"Don't worry, she's safe. She's might just be immobile for a while,"

"Go look for Makomo! She's somewhere within those Trees!"

Giyuu nods and runs off within the trees.

The demon cackles and turns to me.
"So it's just you and me now hey buddy?"

I stand in a defensive stance and prepare my self for anything.

Y/n's POV:

I follow Giyuu's scent towards Sabito, I watch as he leaves after Sabito says something to him. I step out of the Bush, quickly go up to Sabito and hold his hand.

"Eh? Y/n! What are you doing here?! It's not safe!"

The demon stares us down

"Shh calm down! These least I can do is heal you."

I hold his hand tight, and close my eyes and proceed to heal his light injuries. While I close my eyes, I can feel the amount of stress trying to take over me.

"Hey y/n I'll be alright. You go help Giyuu find Makomo okay?"

He looks at me and smiles, I nod

Sabito continues to battle the Demon while I hustle to find Makomo and Giyuu...

No one's POV:
Giyuu rushes off to find Makomo. Retracing her scent he found her body motionless on the ground.

"Hey Makomo, you alright?"

She doesn't answer.

It was quiet, too quiet.
I hear a rustling sound from a bush

"Who's there!?" I say.

I stand to lift Makomo on my back.

"Relax it's just me"

Y/n steps out and smiles.

"W-what are you doing here? I told you to stay put! An-and- how did you find me?"

"You're not the boss of me Giyuu. Plus I just followed your scent. Not that hard. Anyways Sabito needs our help. Let's go."

Y/n leads the way back to Sabito, Giyuu not far behind carrying Makomo on his back.

Sabito's POV:
"Now we're alone aren't we?"
The demon swipes his hand down, I dodge by jumping upwards.

Lured into his trap he flips what seems to be his 'hand', and grabs ahold of my waist.

"Kuso!" (crap!)

I see Giyuu and Y/n rushing through the crowded trees, getting closer.

"Wait! Don't come any closer!"
I yell towards them

"Ah, so that's where they are..." (demon)

I look back and struggle to escape from his grasp, he held me without even needing to hold on to me tightly. I twist and turn, attempting to wheild my sword over my head to jab at his 'arm'.

I succeeded in making him bleed, but the flesh I had just torn quickly regenerates, a horrifying scene, unknown to human nature.

Giyuu puts Makomo down and heads towards me with y/n.

"Wait! Don't come! It's too dangerous! It's a trap!".

The demon raises me high into the sky and waves me around.

"Isn't this your little leader? He's a little arrogant"

Tightening around my chest I manage to attempt another blow, however this time, the demon pinches the edge of the blade, and bends it backwards.

"You won't be needing this anymore will ya?"

He pulls the sword out of my hand and lets it fall hopelessly to the ground.

Y/n and Giyuu scream in sync,
"SABITO!"

"How will your little friends help you know? I could easily kick them out of my way, or should I eat them for dessert? The girls looks sweet..."

The demon stares at y/n  while licking his lips and uses his other hand to swipe at y/n.

"Stay away from y/n!" Giyuu shouts

Luckily she jumps in time and is able to leave a cut on his hand. It was like a really big paper cut, nasty.
She shakes the blood off her blade.

"Aaagh! Why isn't it healing?!" The demon helps, letting go of Sabito.

"That's because I poisoned my blade since I cut you, that will allow the poison to get inside your body and make you unable to move." Y/n states unafraid.

"Well, in that case, why don't I just discard this arm before the poison spreads?".

Y/n didn't think about that.

No one's POV:

While in mid-air,
I, Sabito, slices the demon's arm off. The arm falls to the ground, giving a landing spot for him to land on.

"Well, will you look at that, you just did me a favour!" (Demon)

The demon regrows his arm and kicks the old one.

Y/n yells out to Giyuu
"Watch out!"

Aight I'm sorry but I have to stop here cuz I haven't updated in so long and people are getting impatient so...I'll to make a part 3.

I've been writing this chapter since 2019 lol.
