Chapter one- "Work"

Cherry's POV:

Dal walked in from another day of "work." I doubt it. He leaves early in the morning doesn't say anything and comes home late at night. It use to be he goes to work and then comes home and we or him and the gang hang out. Ever since a couple weeks ago he never says anything.

Concerned I said "Hey Dally," then a little more angry I stated "Where have you been?"

"Work where else." Dally replied

"Really? You've been at work? You never in your life work this long."

"Cherry I'm tired. I was at work ok. Can I go to bed now?"

"Ugh that's all you ever do is wake up, work and come home and go to sleep! Tell me where you really are Dallas! You don't even care, about anything or about me! You don't even care!"

"YOUR RIGHT CHERRY I DON'T CARE, YOU ACTUALLY THINK I CARE ABOUT YOU, WELL I DON'T, YOUR JUST ANOTHER ONE OF MY BROADS!"

I was angry, furious, I hear that he loves me, I hear that he cares, and I hear that I'm different. I knew in the first place this was all a lie, I knew he could never love anyone. We've been in fights but you know he never actually said he didn't care or that he didn't love me.

"DALLAS FUCKING WINSTON, GET OUT OF MY FUCKING HOUSE RIGHT NOW!!!" I didn't know what I was saying or doing but I reacted and I didn't want to see his face.

He got up and rushed for the door " YOU KNOW WHAT, FUCK YOU, I DON'T EVEN WANT TO FUCKING BE HERE!" Then he slammed the door and left.

Dalls POV:

Every morning I've been leaving early and telling Cherry I'm going to work. But really Steve has been helping be fix her up a car for her 18th birthday.

I walked into her house knowing she was going to be her bitchy complaining self. She always is wantin me to change somethin. Always wantin to point out my flaws. She thinks I'm out here fucking other girls when she can't even trust me to do something that benefits her.

Then when I got all the way in and here it came. Her angry voice trying to stay calm kept questioning me. I laid down on her bed and told her I was tired.

Then, for no reason she freaked out and I snapped on her. Then, she kicked me out, I mean she kinda had the right to but you know she started it, she is always the one who bitches at me, and she is the one who can't trust me. So I cant blame her but she is the reason it happened. She's always the reason we fight.

Cherry's POV:

Sitting there tearing up on my bed thinking to myself "he's always making us fight, he's always gotta tik me off and I don't know why." Then, I had an idea, an idea that would answer the question "what is Dalls problem with me."

So I called his older sister River......

I had never even talked or even seen River in my life but I needed to know why Dal was acting so unusual.

So I called River and she answered.
