The beginning

Hi! Welcome to the first chapter of my book, I want to clear a couple things up first :)

Flashback:

(y/n's ) P.O.V

I sat in my mom's car as we drove to our new house, my two older siblings playing tug of war with a toy dinosaur as I sat in the middle of my two younger siblings who were fast asleep,thank God for that, they cried almost the whole way here!
I quietly looked out of the window to get a look of my new surroundings, seeing big and colorful buildings and houses, 'I guess this is not so bad' I thought to myself, though my thoughts were interrupted by my mom speaking up.

"Hey (Y/N) I hear that one of our neighbor's has a boy your age! You two can become friends !" She said with enthusiasm in her voice, I was not really paying attention so I  just nodded my head and mindlessly said " Cool".

To be honest I didn't really want to leave (H/T) I have been there my whole life! Granted I'm only 6 but still , my home is there , my family is there, my everything is there! But my mom got a huge opportunity for work here so she took it , and just like that, we left.

A few more minutes of driving we finally pulled into the house, it was a two story building with Sandy brown bricks, I had to admit it was a pretty house, the whole neighborhood itself looked nice, 'mabye this place is not so bad' I thought.  I climbed to the middle isle and hopped out of the car and stretched my legs, which felt really nice by the way.

My mom got out of the car and opened the trunk so we can get our suitcases I was about to grab mine until I heard a voice behind me.

" Why hello there, welcome to the neighborhood!" A bubbly voice greeted,  I looked behind me and saw a Woman, her husband and two boys, one looked older and the other one looked about my age. I didn't get a very good look because when I saw them I went and hid behind my mom, I'm a bit shy.

My mom smiled at the family
"Hi! Thank you so much, my name is (Y/M/N) and these are my children (S/N) (siblings names ) "and this is (Y/N )" my mom said with a slight chuckle gently pushing me to the families view. I gave a shy smile and waved . I got a better view of the younger boy who had been staring at me this whole time . He was  cute, he had dark brown hair and soft brown eyes, and a really cute smile.

" How old are you dear?" The  boys mother asked me bending down to my hight , "I-im 6" I stutterd out quietly, " So is my boy! This is my son Alexis!" The mother beemed, pointing to the young boy. So that is his name, it sounds kinda like a girl name, buts I thought it was kinda  cute.

The parents continued to talk and I stood there quietly until the small boy spoke up " Do you know a game called ToonTown? " He asked curiously. I shook my head, not  knowing what that was, he went wide eyed and grabbed my arm dragging me towards his house. I didn't know what to do!

I looked over to my mom to see if she tried to stop it but her and Alexis mother just started laughing saying how him and I were already friends, 'i haven't even known this boy for a couple minutes and  he's already taking me to his house?! what kind of neighborhood did I move into?! ' I thought freaking out in my mind as he lead me to his house.

We raced upstairs to his room where I saw a computer, he started typing something and a game popped up, he clicked a button that said 'create a toon',he explained the game as he helped me create one, I chose a (F/C) , short (F/ A) (because I'm short and my favorite animal is a (F/A).

He taught me how to play the game and helped me defeat my first cog!  I'm not going to lie, it was kind of fun. I played with him for a couple hours until I had to go home and have dinner. I found my mom by the door and hugged her as we said our goodbye to Alexis and his mother.

"So, did you have fun?" My mom asked with a gentle smile, I nodded my head, a smile forming on my face.

"yeah, yeah I did" I said looking up to the sky as we went inside our brand new house.

Little did I know that after this moment a beautiful friendship would  blossom into something more.
