The mother's eyes lit with rage, "You only want them gone cause you don't want to spend our money on them?Good stars your wo-" he interrupted his wife " what do you mean by our money?"
She took a step forward, furious, "You are such a goddamn narcissist, why can't you think about your wife for once?" She jabbed a finger at his chest "Why can't you think about your kids?!"
A hand came in touch with her face and the next thing she knew she was on the ground.

The mother sat shocked, tears stung her eyes, she never knew why she loved him, she knew he was toxic it's just she thought she could change him.

Michi watched as he walked into the room where they used to sleep, a few of months ago he kicked her out of the room due to her working almost 24/7. She stumbled a little as she got up, walked towards the stairs and across the hall to the living room. She stopped just as she reached the door way of the living room, she could hear her five year old and seven year old playing.
She smiled softly as she watched the two in the corner of the door frame.
Koi slapped down a draw four, their sister angrily threw down the cards and climbed on the couch pulling the blanket on top of her, " You're so mean Koi!"
Koi smirked, "Naw you just suck, Kei"
Michi wiped away any evidence of tears, "Koi you better be playing nicely."
"Uno isn't a nice game in general, momma."
She sat on the couch, pealing the blanket off Hana and placing her in her lap. "Do you want to leave the house?"
Koi looked at Michi suspiciously, "But it's dark out, didn't you always tell us not to go out when it's dark?"
She smiled, "I'm glad you actually listen to rules," Koi scoffed in embarrassment "but I'll let it slide for tonight, alright?"
Hana's face lit up as she sniffled "Can we visit the Old Garden?"
Koi almost had a heart attack "KEI YOU KNOW I HAVE A POLLEN ALLERGY" they hissed quietly.
Kei just stuck her tongue out and cuddled closer to Michi.
