The media above was very intricately chosen to fit the storyline. Please, if you can, loop it to capture the feel of the dream. Thank you. :)

Everything is safe when you sleep.
One's mind is at ease and peace in the dream world.
No one is around to judge them.
This is their world now.
Or so he thought.
Aesop gasped upon being violently shaken awake. He gripped the side of the bed and the shaking stopped. "Oh, thank God you're awake." A male voice beside the bed spoke. To Aesop's astonishment, Eli Clark himself was standing there, wearing a ridiculously fancy white outfit. Gold adorned some of the pieces, but it was nearly blinding considering how dark the room was. Aesop muttered, "Wha- Did Halloween come early?" "What? No." Eli sighed. "Get up, something's wrong." Aesop held his head, "Ugh, okay..." The masked man braced on his elbows and sat up.
The room was nothing like Aesop Carl's room. This room was old and fancy, full of dusty pieces of cloth everywhere. If anything it was rather boring. All of the wooden furniture only to be seen by the moonlight was bland. Eli's cloak appeared brighter than everything else in the room. The floorboards were as well wooden, but they seemed to be tinted with a hue of blue. Of course, it could just be the moonlight again, but it just seemed strange. Strange how moonlight can affect the way things look, that is.
Eli was busy examining the room until Aesop groaned and fell back. He turned around, "Need a hand?" His owl fluffed her feathers. The embalmer sighed, "I think so. My head really hurts..." He held a hand out which Eli pulled towards him. Aesop held his head and stumbled forward. "Okay, take it easy, now", Eli ushered. He let the other brace on him for a moment. Aesop mumbled, "Eli, what in the world is going on? It's, like, midnight."
"That's what I've been trying to figure out. I don't know where we are either..."
"Are we... not in the manor?"
Eli worded it out for him straight, "No. We're not."
"Then..."
He fumbled with his sleeve, only now noticing how his clothes were different than before. He had an indigo shirt and pair of pants with yellow stars all over them. It fit well, but it looked like something a child would wear. His mask had changed as well. It was a darker shade of indigo with a yellow moon over it. He cried, "What? When did-?"
Eli shook his head, nearly shame emoting him, "Yes, we both ended up here like this. I'd understand why you're wearing pajamas, but I'm not so sure why I'm wearing a wedding outfit."
Aesop doubled over and groaned. Eli rushed over and knelt, "Hey, I told you to take it easy..." The other murmured, "Sorry..." He sighed. While the seer was helping him back up, Aesop noticed something white on the desk. "Hey, Eli?"
"Hm?"
"Do you see that thing on the desk?"
"A piece of paper?"
He inched over, Aesop still mildly bracing onto him. They began to make out a couple of lines on the paper that Eli decided to pick up and read for himself. He read aloud, "Dream. Shall the clock strike seven, you had better left before then... It's just some monostich." Aesop gave a sigh of relief, "Ah, okay. It's all just a dream- Wait, I thought when you learn you're in a dream, you wake up!"
"The note's probably implying that we need to find a way out ourselves."
Aesop peered at the door next to them. It was a normal mahogany door with a golden handle that seemed like the least tattered thing in the room. He moved his hand towards the handle, only to miss it completely. He tried again, and then another time, missing both attempts. So Eli walked over and opened it.
