PROLOGUE The zombies screamed and screeched as they tried to get through the bared up windows and doors trying to get to the two exhausted survivors sitting next to each other.

The lady next to me sighed, wet from the rain pounding on the roof of the abandoned house. Her slick mucles shined in the dimmed lights like grease in a pan, "what's your name?"
Her booming voice husked in my ear, I stuttered, "(y- (y/n), what's yours?"
She grined down at me, sense I was shorter then her, "it's hard to pronounce, just call me vonic, (y/n) "
I blushed and stared down at my bloody cut up knees awkwardly, my body began to mentally shut down, it lacked this emotion for so long it forgot how to handle the feeling.
My hand softly brushed over her scabbed hand, I flinched my hand back, "ah, im s-sorry"
She grabbed my hand and laced it with hers, "it's fine, I honestly don't care anymore, you can hold my hand any time you want"
Her hot breath warmed up my ear, I clenched her hand harder as I managed mumble out "thank you" under the hot sensation in my chest and down below.
She rubbed my hand in hers, remembering when hers we're just the same, I didn't notice the small blush on her blood soaked face and her lip being bitten softly. "Your cute yaknow, so soft, small, and so pure"
