''It is not easy to tell a story, much less write the story of your life.

Getting words into situations you have experienced and making the people reading them feel the same emotion as you is very difficult.

In January of this year I made a blogger as a diary, a vent, a way to perpetuate my story. Turning this into chapters in book form was a big challenge.

Sharing part of your story, being judged, exposing yourself is all very difficult, but I felt I needed to write because we read so much about soul mates, we watch movies and soap operas, but in real life it's very different.

I really live this experience and I want to share it with you. There is a difference between fellow travelers (husband or wife) and soul mates who evolve together for many lifetimes but are not bound by titles here on Earth.

Having a person who, even though you are far away, can feel what he feels, call with his heart, thinking so hard that he hears your voice, sounds like a soap opera, but it really happens.

It's hard to understand that soul mates when they decide to come together on a journey won't always be together, either because people intrude and separate them, or because they just came to rely on trials and atonements.

For soul mates, it is not necessary to be physically together, because even miles away they are always connected.

Everything that will be written in this book really happened (and still happens).

For the sake of privacy, I changed the names of the people who will be cited. All characters have names I came up with when I started writing.

I'll tell you everything that connected me with this person and why we know we're soul mates.

I always joked with him that our story would make a book. When I made the blogger, which was a mini summary of everything, I thought a lot and decided to share with him.

He is like light in my path, every time I feel alone or afraid, I think of him and calm down. I know that even apart, he is my mate, my best friend, my love, my lover, my story, everything for me. He is the one who will always be with me. Just like I'll always be here for him.

We almost arrived together on this journey. He came twenty-two days before me.

With him I have an everlasting covenant.

I can live far away from him, but not in a world without him.

Our free will caused each to walk in one direction, but we never separated.

When one needs, the other is present.

It has always been like this, it will always be like this.

I decided to write by request of my daughter and my nephews. Thank you, Lana, Amanda and Leo for encouraging me.

Thanks so much for your support: Lana, my daughter, who made the book cover designer and is doing the English translation, and my niece Amanda who is reviewing the Portuguese chapters. To my sister who reads each chapter and relives everything with me, since she was present all the time. My friend Patricia who encouraged me when she read the blogger to really write telling everyone my story (ours, Juliana and Felipe).

I dedicate every line written here to my soul mate, who came with me on this journey of evolution. Thank you for every moment. I know that when this life is over we will be together forever, and when we come back together or apart, at the end of each journey we will meet again.

                          Our love is eternal.
