She knew she shouldn't but she loved him she had loved his since he started at grey Sloan memorial hospital she knew if she told him it could ruin their friendship but she had to face him and tell him one-day.
Meredith had a surgery and she knew Andrew would be in there and it would be uncomfortable after the surgery Meredith went straight to an on-call room where she went straight to sleep.
One week later, Callie and Arizona had invited Meredith to their Christmas party.
At the party, Meredith noticed that Andrew in the corner of the room sitting on his own Meredith walked over to him "hey Deluca" Meredith said slowly "hey grey what you doing" he replied Meredith leaned in and kissed Andrew he pulled away and then kissed her back.
He liked her to she was so glad he liked her the next day at work it was awkward as both of them didn't know what to say or do about last night. Whenever they saw eachother they would walk in the opposite direction until a couple of hours later when they had surgery together it wasn't going to be easy but they had to work together.
Meredith went home after the surgery to sort out dinner for her children when she got there her three children ran up to her and hugged her.
Once the children were in bed there was a knock on the door when Meredith opened the door it was Andrew "Hey Andrew what are you doing here" Meredith asked confused " I need to tell you something" he replied "Meredith I am in love you I have always been in love with since the day I met you I knew I had to know you" Andrew said just before he kissed Meredith passionately.
