I thought highschool would be fun but it isn't, there's a lot of work and studying, and this creepy new guy keeps staring at me for no reason... I wish my class was over so JC and Kian could come pick me up. We could go play laser tag or even go somewhere to eat. But I need to make my parents proud, even if highschool is boring and hard.
I swear this new highschool student who transferred from North Carolina keeps staring at me. I want him to stop but I don't want to be rude to him. So I kept it to myself and ignored him for the rest of the class.
Class was finally over and I went down to go give my professor my research paper on the human body. My pencil fell out of my backpack which was opened wide. I bent down to pick it up until someone snatched it from the ground and was trying to hand it to me. I look up to meet these bright blue eyes, right in front of me was the new kid. From far away I thought he was pretty ugly, but now I take back what I said. For some reason his eyes reminded me of an old friend of mine named Nash who lived in North Carolina just like this guy. At first I thought it was Nash but it couldn't be his mother and father probably wouldn't allow him to leave.
"Here I think this is yours Kate. "
*I looked at him confused*
"H..how do you know my name?"
"You don't recognize me do you?" He laughed.
"Nash?"
He smiled and nodded.
My eyes widen and tears of joy began to run down my face.
"Oh my gosh...." I began to hug him. "I missed you so much. I'm so glad that I get to see you again."
Nash hugged me tightly and began to move my hair out of my face.
"It felt like forever since I've seen you Kate."
"I know." I replied still crying in his arms.
Slowly my tears started to dry up and he carried me put of the classroom.
"Nash, may I ask why you came to California? "
He looked at me with a frown on his face.
"I came here to look for you. Eversince you left, my life was pretty depressing. So since I'm an adult now, I left my parents' place and lived with Cameron and the boys. We have our own apartment in Hollywood. I asked Kian and JC what highschool you go to so I can attend there and try to be close to you again like the old days."
I blushed and stared at the ground.
For the rest of the day Nash and I walked around the park discussing about our life.
I was surprise to hear that he was in a group called the Magcon Boys with Cameron, Carter, Jack G, Jack J, Jacob, Matthew, Shawn, and Taylor.
I'm actually pretty happy that Carter finally found the one. After his break up with Maggie was terrible. He used to always ask me how to get through these type of situations. I remember being introduced to his girlfriend one day, I think her name was Marile, but I'm not sure. Marile was so pretty, and I thought that Carter and her were a cute couple as well. Carter always seemed to hug her even when she's mad. I remember him telling me that he'll always protect her, and thats the kind of guy I want. A guy who would never give up on me, a guy who'd protect me, and a guy who would tell me he loves me every morning. I used to get angry about there relationship because they looked so happy together, but I kept it to myself and learned to get used to it.
When we made it back on campus, I looked at my phone and it was 6:50 pm. I've been wondering around with him since 1:30 pm. I gotta get home to the dogs and make sure they're okay.
"Hey, Nash you mind dropping me off at my place I gotta get home to feed my dogs."
"Yeah sure I wouldn't mind that at all!"
I smiled, "thanks."
We walked towards his car.....
