Farewell

Farewell, my Darling
Now, I have to leave.
In my memories are all the
Stories we did weave.

Farewell, my Love
For, I have to go.
This moment passed so soon
Couldn't it have gone by slow?

Maybe one day
I'll return.
And sit beside you
As we watch the world burn.

For it will burn, Love
And reduce to ashes.
No way to leave
We'll block every passage.

And watch the people
Who oppose our love scream.
If you want to
We'll pretend it's a dream.

This may seem crazy
To some simpleton or bore.
But not to you,
The woman I adore.

But now, I'll have to leave
I'll see you soon, though.
Farewell, my Darling
Now I have to go.
