Sam stuffed another spoonful of his salad into his mouth, eyes still glued to the screen of his laptop. His mind was almost blank, and he felt himself slowly nodding off to sleep when a loud rustle of wings came from behind him.

"Cas?" Sam turned around, expecting to see the trench coated angel (perhaps holding another guinea pig in his hands again) but who he saw made him choke on his food.

"Sammy!" The brown hair and hazel eyed angel beamed and pounced onto Sam, slamming him onto the wooden table with Gabriel's face inches from his. Gabriel twirled a lock of Sam's hair and said through a smirk, "Sorry, I'm not Dean Winchester's boyfriend. I'm yours."

"Gabriel!" Sam flushed and shoved the angel off him, his face twisting into a frown at what the angel had said. He asked quite rudely, "What are you doing here?"

"Oh cm'on Sammy, admit that you're at least a teeny tiny glad to see me."

When there was no response, Gabriel threw his hands into the air and sighed. "Aw, the moose is grumpy today."

Sam was about lecture the angel again but Gabriel had already caught at Sam's sleeve. He had a brief feeling of wind against his face before he saw a patch of white in front of him. No wait... It was a snowstorm. The sudden and uncontrollable cold hit him like a wave.

"Where... The... H...hell are we?" Sam forced those words through his teeth.

"On the peak of Mount Everest," Gabriel replied smugly, patting the rock they were sitting on. Sam paled and look down from where he was sitting-he couldn't find the ground.

"Gabe I'm going to kil... Kill you, if I don't... Don't die from th... The cold first."

"You won't. And... Sam?"

"Wh...what?"

"I hope you aren't afraid of flying."

Sam had barely registered the thought into his brain, but Gabriel had already shoved him off the edge.

He screamed, spiraling downwards into the void but could vaguely hear laughter from above him. Gabriel you little douchebag! Was the only thing he could think of again and again.

A pair of hands grabbed his shoulders and Sam stopped falling-partially. They were gliding, slowly gaining altitude again. Sam twisted his neck as far up as he could and saw Gabriel's eyes sparkling with happiness, a pair of huge white wings sprouted from his back.

"You getting into the mood yet Sammy?" Gabe yelled over the roar of the wind.

"No! Bring me back home you angel dick!"

"Still so emo... Okay."

The scene changed around Sam and he fell onto something wooden, right on his face. Groaning, he sat up dizzily, looking around him. All he saw were houses on either side of him, water all around and that he was on a canoe... With Gabriel sitting opposite him in a ridiculously large sun hat, strumming on a ukelele.

"Is this Venice?" Sam asked incredulously.

"Sì, mio caro," the Archangel flashed a smirk at the human and winked.

"Wow. This place looks better than in the pictures..." Sam gazed around him in a wonder. "It's beautiful."

"Now we're talking! Anyway, fancy some pizza?"

Sam's stomach churned when he recalled free falling a few minutes ago. He shook his head, but turned his attention to something else. Chuckling slightly, he asked, "Gabe, you look ridiculous. Take that damn hat off."
