I didn't leave my rooms for weeks after she passed. It really hurt, knowing she wasn't here anymore. I take my face away from the pillow, soaked with my tears. "We're moving.." I hear, as my dad creaks my bedroom door open. I was in complete shock. Mom dies then dad wants us to move? "Why!?" I yell, still crying. "I was offered a job in Florida that should help us with our debt." My dad replied, sitting on my bed. I stare at him, saying nothing. "I know you don't want to move, but we have to. It's either we lose our house, or I get a job and get us a better house." he said. "I guess that's fine." I say, wiping the tears off my face.
The next morning we immediately start packing. I kept picking up pictures of my mom and just... staring at them. I still didn't believe she was gone. I still didn't understand. I put the pictures in a box, and taped them up. I pick up a crisp, new sharpie and write, "IMPORTANT!" on the box. I finish packing my room by the end of the day, but still, I couldn't process anything. Everything was moving so fast. I pick up my phone and start texting my only friend, Mia, that I'm moving.
Me: "hey mia. how are you?"
Mia: "im gud, hby?"
Me: "not..so good.."
Mia: "oh no, why??"
Me : "i rlly h8 to tell you this now...but...im moving"
Mia: "no! you cant! youre lying to me. stop messing around"
Me: "i'm srry, i'm moving to FL in like, 2 days.."
Mia: "well, how about we meet up at the central park before you leave?"
Me: "Ok, sounds great! cya there!"
Mia: "cya"
Hey peeps! How are you liking the new book? I love it so far, if you ask me. I'll try my hardest so that I can write more chapters here, and in 'Her Pet' and 'A Friend's Journey'. Anyways, I'll see you all in the next chapter I write!
