Two Different Worlds

Chapter 8: Causing Trouble

"Scarlett! Are you ok?!" Louis said.

"I'm fine! Please just get out!" 

"No! Something bad can happen to you!"

"Something bad will happen to you too if you don't leave!" It was too late for me to shove them outside again. The door was slammed shut by none other than Brelekk/Brock. But he morphed his appearance so that the boys wouldn't recognize him. "Oh great." I groaned. "Guys! Run!" This time, they didn't hesitate to follow my instructions. They sprinted away to another hallway where they would be safe. The second i knew they were out of sight, I round house kicked Brelekk in the jaw, causing him to stumble to the ground. 

Just then, a barrage of spikes were being shot at me. I was able to dodge most of them but couldn't help the few that were able to cut my clothes and some parts of my skin. No doubt that it was Reidan/Ryan who was also here. Brelekk kip-upped to his feet, preparing to fight. He charged after me, spitting fire from his feet for speed. He tackled me, grabbing my torso and smashing my body through multiple walls. I flinched every single time my back made contact with a hard surface. He finally decided to let me go and drop me to the ground...hard! 

"Scarlett!" It was Harry. Oh great. I didn't have time to respond. Reidan quickly rejoined us with a spike ready at his knuckles. He raised it above his head, about to punch my lights in. I put my hands on either side of my head, on the floor, and threw my legs in the air to do a quick back flip. I was able to kick the two in the process. i grabbed Reidan by the wrist and flipped him onto Brelekk, just enough for them to fall on one another. 

"Come on!" I took Louis and Harry's arms and dragged them through the smoke filled hallways, trying to find a safe place to keep them. Brelekk was close on our tails as we heard his heavy footsteps stomping to catch up to us. I was able to find a janitors closet, where i threw Harry and Louis in to keep them from getting in the way. Just as i was about to lock the door, a hand pulled me by the hair and threw me onto a wall. I ended up clutching my stomach on the ground as a punch was roughly blown. 

Reidan was next. He lifted me up by the throat, leaving my feet to dangle in the air. I tried to fly slightly so that i could try to regain some air, but Brelekk continued to kick me on my lower body. I grunted with every hit he made until i was finally able to knee Reidan in the groin; where every boy felt pain no matter what planet you're on. His grip loosened on me, allowing me to get his head in a sissor lock and then flip him to the ground. 

Brelekk then tried to have hand to hand combat with me while keeping fire emanating from his hands. I was able to block all of his movements, except for one that burned the hem of my shirt. Damn! These earthling clothes are useless in a time of battle. I was pinned to the wall with Reidan's spikes piercing the ends of my clothing. 

"Say goodbye." He mumbled as he raised a spike to my throat. 

"Get away from her!" Louis yelled, slamming a mop at the back of his head. It did nothing, obviously.

"Are you insane?! That's not gonna do anything!" I screamed at Louis who started to back away from Reidan who was stepping closer. Brelekk grabbed Harry and Louis from behind and threw them to the floor, after he gave each of them a good punch in the face. Reidan brought both of his fists up, with steel poking out of each. 

"Say goodbye to your little friends, Scar." I panicked. The second those spikes left his knuckles, I used my powers to stop them in their tracks, spin them around, and shoot them back towards Reidan and Brelekk. They were able to easily dodge my counter attack as i removed the spikes pinning me to the wall. I flew towards them, punching them square on the nose. I levetated a metal pole that was broken off and began to use it as a staff. I swung it around, attempting to hit the two. Brelekk was able to blow it out of my hands using his fire. I dropped down to the split as they both tried to punch me simultaniously and did a windmill to trip them. 

I grabbed the pole once again and was about to smash it onto their faces. That was...until i heard voices coming from down the hall. 

"Is there someone stuck in here?!" I turned my head to see shadows making their way to the hallway we were in. On the ground, Louis and Harry were staring at me with wide eyes. I looked back to where the Zinthovas were, only to find that they disappeared. Damn it! I let them get away again! I let the pole fall out of my hands as it made a 'clunk' on the floor. I walked over to the two shocked boys who were staring at me.

"Are you guys ok?" I asked calmly, bending down so that i was at their level. 

"W-what are you?" Louis stuttered. 

I sighed. "I....i-i'll explain later. Come on. We gotta get out of here."

"No! I'm not going anywhere until you explain what the hell you are!" I winced at his tone. 

"I-i'm sorry Louis. Can we discuss this at the hotel?" I offered them both a hand. They refused and leaned back as if i carried a disease. I sighed in defeat. They weren't gonna trust me now. I stood up and began to walk away with my head facing the floor. 

"W-wait." Harry called. I turned around so that i was now facing Harry who was trying to stand. "We can't let you go with injuries like that." He said, motioning to my damaged body. 

"I'm fine. These are nothing." I shrugged.

"Look. You may be some weird creature, but you still saved us...more than once. The least we can do is treat your wounds and hear you out." Louis didn't say anything but just crossed his arms and followed Harry. 

I just nodded and led the two outside where we were met with what louis called 'firemen' and 'police'. They drove us to our hotel after cleaning up some of my cuts which i claimed i didn't need. Harry and Louis only had little blood on their faces meaning Brelekk probably held back on his punches. Once we got back to the hotel, we walked to the elevators and pressed the floor to their room. The whole way there was complete silence. Louis banged on the door where Liam swung it open with a concerned look on his face. 

"Oh my god! Are you guys ok?!" He said, moving out of the way to let us into the room.

"Just peachy." Louis replied angrily, plopping onto the couch. "Come on. You've got a lot of explaining to do." He said pointing a finger at me. 

"What's going on?" Liam asked confused.

"Why don't you ask her? She's the one who's been keeping things from us." 

"Louis, i-"

"Save your sorry. Just tell us what the hell just happened." I looked to the ground, ashamed. The boys, including Zayn and the now concious niall who just joined us, sat on the couch while i sat opposite of them. 

How am i supposed to explain this now?
