Week 1: Simple Life of Me

The Simple Life of Me

You know those stories you hear as a child; about angels and mermaids, sword fights and astronauts, and maybe even a few dragons and evil artificial intelligence. All the HEROS that make you dream big while you are sound asleep. Yeah that is not what this is going to be like.

Because in all honestly, my life kinda sucks.

I'm no hero. I'm really just an ordinary person.

I went to school; not too big, not too small. Just kinda there, in the middle. I by no means was popular but I wasn't the outcast either. I guess I just didn't really standout in anything.

My family was, you know, middle class. We didn't cause a riot but we weren't perfect saints. Just you know, normal... I guess?

Maybe the only thing special about me is that I can string a few words together and call it something. Yeah, we'll go with that. And I don't know what this is but I'm bored so hey I might as well write down my thoughts.

I was reading a website the other day and something caught my eye. Okay, it wasn't a just a website, it was Tumblr. But you find all the interesting stuff on tumblr. There are so many things that we just don't know about the past because they were like common stuff. Like there was this place in Egypt traded with way back in the BC but we have no idea where it is because while everyone wrote down what they traded and stuff they never said how far they traveled or anything close to about where it was. And like Plato... no maybe it was Socrates... oh well it doesn't matter, one of them said something about Atlantis. And we still know nothing about Atlantis because they didn't write down where it was that they were talking about.

So I guess my point is that this is what this is going to be. Not some crazy heroic story to tell your kids; I lost my imagination a long time ago. No, this is going to be just the simple life of me. And maybe, just maybe someone will find this useful someday.
