The Doubts of Success

Part 2- The Split

"Wake up from your immature dreams and realize that the modern world is much harder than you think it is." A voice said in my dreams, and I thought it was just a joke, and regretted it. But I know that when the time comes, I will suffer the nothingness of my brain and the hardness of my heart.

It is November 3, 2086, 11:56 A.M., when I woke up from a bad dream. "Whoah oah. I think something bad is going to happen." I shook my hands and close my eyes and I found myself trapped in a cage. "What dimension is this? Jayce? Is this the eight dimension?" I was saying it in a terrified voice. Knowing that I am in danger, I tried to escape from the dimension. Trying to escape, I heard someonce voice saying,

"You think you can escape this, but no, you can't. I have done everything to stop you from escaping. By the way, I am Cerani, the god of the dimensions, and nothing can stop me! I'm here, pesky child! Here, I am a line!" Feeling happy, I stepped on the point, but nothing happened. Yeah, nothing could stop him, but one thing. It was another point.

Trying to jump to the void, I was afraid. But I did it. I jumped. And then something happened to me. I am a circle now, and the only thing that I can see was a line. Then I fell into an endless pit and landed back to the point's eye. He was dead. I went back to normal, and I'm back in the room. I then went to school to study.

When I arrived the school, I saw a mail in my locker. It says, From the Seventh Dimension, Portal City. When I opened it, I found a tray which holds seven orbs. I put the Orb of Guidance on the first slot. It opened another slot, but it ejected the Orb of Guidance. I found a button in the orb, so I pushed it. Don't know what to do, but the orb split into half. I saw inside that there was another orb in it. It says, Orb of the Inside Thoughts.

I put the orb in the case, but it was too small. I kept it in my pocket and went to class. In class, I was busy doing my projects and seatworks, when suddenly, the orb fell from my pocket. It rolled and I was lost somewhere.

After class, I directly went home and changed clothes. I then heard a knock from the doorknob, so, I didn't change my jeans. "Oh, hi Dan! Would you mind coming with us to the school?" Jayce asked.

After the talk, I remembered about the orb. I tried to find it in my pocket, but it was not there. I went with them at the school just to find the orb. I got my bike and the helmet and biked to school

When we arrived at school, I tied my bike in a post in the parking lot and went to the classroom, trying to find the orb. I thought of many things. "Was it lost? Where could it be? What if its lost?" The thought in my head kept on popping until I saw something glowing. It was the orb! Very happy to see it, I then put the orb in the case, but it still popped out.

I then remembered that The Orb of Guidance was split. I tried to put the orb inside, and it perfectly fits! It was just a filler of the orb! I saw the orb shining with red light. I got the orb and a mace. I then put the complete Orb of Guidance into the case. It was my very first completed Orb!

Going back to the house, I saw Cerani walking in the street. I realized I was a circle again. I split Cerani into two, making him a half-point. "Wow! Great," I said to myself, with joy in my smile.

At home, I was trying to find out what the mace is for. I tried to find it in the internet, but since I got to another dimension, there was a slow interternet connection. But after a while, I got an e-mail. There it said, The Sixth Dimension, Time City. When I tried to open the email sent to me, I saw this message popping out.

Dear Dan,

This sixth-dimensional Jayce, and I want to tell you that travelling through dimension is very dangerous. You might go to the Unlucky Dimension if you are doing the ritual wrong. Please be careful. But please still visit us in the Sixth Dimension. Just clap your hand three times and close your eyes to come here. Byeere!

It was very wierd that an e-mail from another dimension can be seen in another dimension, but I think it is cool.

In my room, I then clapped three times and closed my eyes, and I saw a storm in a city, and buildings are toppled. In my front, I saw a skeleton that looked familiar. It was the skeleton of Jayce, but it looked bad. It looked evil. She said, "Hi there, Dan, I see you have arrived in the Dimension of Misery, the Thir-..." She was choked. When she stopped choking, she continued, "Oh, where am I? Oh, yeah, You have arrived in the Dimension of Misery, the Thir-. Sorry, I'm not allowed to say it, Just saying, the Dimension of Misery." She then laughed like she's evil, but she choked again.

Then, she then holded me tightly in the neck, saying that she likes to be, friends with me. "Ahhhhhhhhh! What are you doing. Are you crazy?" I shouted directy on her ear.

She fell down and became unconscious. I probably killed her. To make matters worse, I accidentally spitted her body into two using the mace. But I still don't know how to use it. After that couple of minutes, I tried to explore the city. "Why is this dimension so miserable?" I then thought to myself as I was wandering around. I then thought of the unlucky number. "Oh, this is the thir-", when someone suddenly held my mouth. "Oh, this is the unlucky dimension, that's why."

When I went home, I still feel how spooked I was on that dimension. "What should I do? How do I go to the other dimensions?" I asked myself. I then went and had dinner with my family. I told them a story. But they don't know it was me.
