chapter 1

Jordan's POV,

Hey I'm Jordan dont get that picture confused that's my cousin brandon, if he looks familiar yes hes the bassist from courage my love from Kitchener,Ontario, Brandon's my favorite cousin me and him are so close hes more like an older brother to me, he knows what's been going on at home with me and my mom and dad.

"Aye Jordan" my best friend Izzy says to me while giving me a bottle of Corona,"hey Izzy, hows it hanging?"I ask her "nothing really ma dude just cant believe we made it out of high school already" as soon as she said that I saw some guy lead a girl upstairs but kind of looked like he was forcing her up stairs "hey Izzy I'll be right back I gotta go to the washroom" I let her with out her even replying I walk up the stairs and that's when I hear the muffled cries for help, as I got closer the louder they were I tried opening the door but it was locked so I went to a good friend of mine ryder the quarter back star "hey uh ryder can I ask you for a favor I need your key for your spare bedroom" he looks at me weird "why Jordan what's up" I just look at him giving him that face and he just hands me the key so I go back upstairs and I unlock the door and that's when I blacked out.

Brandon's POV,

I wake up to my phone ringing, I look at it and I see it's my aunt " hey what's up everything okay?" I ask her "no everything's not okay Brandon Jordan got arrest last night, shes out of high school now and we cant keep her shes causing too much stress on us, ask your mom to take that devil child and pick her up from the jail next week dont bother trying to take her back to us the house will be empty" and with that she hangs up I groan and get up I dont bother calling my mom but instead I call Phoenix over. 

(Time skip to when Phoenix is over)

I hear Phoenix come in "hey girl what's up" I asked her while giving her a hug "nothing but not me you, you sound very stressed what's going on brandon" I sigh "it's my cousin shes in jail for the week her parents dont want her told me to not bother bringing her to the house bc its gonna be empty I dont know what to do I cant leave her homeless man shes my baby cousin" Phoenix nods "I got you dont worry let me talk to Mercedes we both know how shell react when she finds out that someone who's been to jail is coming on tour with us bc I know you aren't gonna leave her here by her self" and with that she walked away.

Phoenix's POV,

I get home and see Mercedes is playing Mario cart " hey man we have a little problem its not a big one just a little one" she looks at me and nods wanted me to continue " Brandon's cousin's parents dont want her anymore Brandon had decided to bring her in but the only problem is she'd have to go on tour with us" I say to her  "okay what's the problem with that you guys know you can bring who ever youd like" she says to me I nod " I know cedes but the thing is he picks her up tomorrow from jail apparently she beat some guy in a bedroom at a party" she looks at me in horror and I'm quickly to say " brandon says shes a good kid she wasnt meant to hurt anyone we dont really have a choice give her a chance please", she looks at me 1 chance that's all shes getting and you need to tell Brandon that he needs to get the story of what happened out of her" and with that I smile and nod and make my way to call brandon.
