Chapter 1~ A new life

I sighed as I looked out the foggy window of an uncomfortable taxi, the driver chewing gum and making eye contact with me every time i looked into the rear-view mirror, which was sorta awkward. A new place, a new house, a new life I said to myself breathing out slowly making the window even more foggier then it was, I couldn't wait to get out of high school and have my own place, with my mam gone and my dad being an abusive asshole, I moved as soon as I got my grade scores and set out to a new place hopefully to get into a college, as I stopped thinking I stared back out of the window and realized I had reached my new home,  as I unplugged my earphones I opened the car door swiftly and stepped out staring at my new place, it was big enough I have to admit, It belonged to my aunt and uncle before they passed the other year... they were amazing to me, the only ones in my family I felt understood me, they left the house for me, I loved it as a child, I spent hours running around it especially in the attic, but coming back it felt nice..
/timeskip to a few hours later/
After unpacking everything I made my way to the attic, I decided to make it my new room since it reminded me most of my childhood here, While sorting out my drawers I felt a weird presence behind me, I brushed it off and decided to throw on a pair of short, shorts and an oversized black shirt, I bent over into one of my bags realizing I left my hairbrush in my carry bag, I groaned not wanting to bend over (y/n you lazy), after my long sigh I bent over rummaging through my bag and suddenly felt the weird presence again, I heard someone whistling "Wow great view~" I jumped up hitting my head off my press and turned around quickly "who the hell are you?!" I raised my eyebrows as far as they could go, a cute looking guy with a stripped suit and greenish hair was standing there staring at my ass.."wait can you see me?!" He said in surprise, "uh yeah?" I said a bit pissed I mean how could you not be when some random guys in your house?!, the man jumped around excited like a little girl, "who are you again?" I said sitting down on my bed, "I'm the ghost with the most babe~" he winked at me, "no I mean- your a ghost...?" I stopped mid sentence "sure am babes~" he slurred, even though this was one of the most weirdest things I have ever experienced I brushed it off, "so what's your name?" I snapped "chillax sweet cheeks so eager aren't you~ I cant say my name but..." the man clicked his finger and a whiteboard appeared he wrote out the letter " b e e t l e j u i c e"  quickly, "beetlejuice?" I said "that's your name?" "Yep now just say it two more times baby cmon" I looked him up and down "why should I?" I laughed "so you can be closer to your new friend beej~" he smirked, "he's cute" I thought "I'm not doing anything unless I have too" I turned over and snuggled into bed "now goodnight" I said, he groaned "cmon babes please for me?" I hushed him out "we've just met demon now out" , he pouted and clicked his fingers, he was gone, I snuggled into bed and thought about what just happened, I went on my phone for a while, checking out my friends pages to see how they're doing, I clicked on my best friend Lydia's page, I missed her most. After a while of scrolling through instagram finding myself starting to drift off, just as I was about to fall into deep sleep I heard a familiar chuckle "sweet dreams~"
