Prologue: Rise of the Monster

Hello my name is Alexia Dupain-Cheng and unfortunately I have been cursed from the day I was born, this is my story I hope you enjoy!

"hmm-hum-hmm-hmm" A girl hummed with her eyes closed as she brushed the knots out of her long white hair. She was of Asian decent and was currently wearing a black dress with red thin vertical strips going around the dress and black flats, she also looked to be around twelve years old.

The door to the room opened revealing another girl. She looked two years older than the girl currently brushing her hair, had short black hair tied into twin-tails and had large bluebell eyes. "Hurry up Alexia, we're going to be late for school!" The new girl said urgently before leaving the room, allowing the now dubbed 'Alexia' to open her eyes to the now open door, which shone a brilliant crimson, almost glowing.

Sighing to herself, she stood up and grabbed a metallic backpack off a nearby hanger, which looked awfully like a claw and took one last look at herself in the mirror in her room and lifting her hair over her ear. Nodding to herself she closed her door as she left the room. "Bye momma." She said as she walked past an Asian woman with raven black hair.

"Bye Alexia, have a fun first day of school!" The woman said waving to her youngest daughter. If your confused, Alexia at a young age was invited to a private school, because for some unknown reason she had intelligence which was greater than the average person and was deemed 'too smart for an average school'.

"Alexia come on, you don't want to be late for your first day now do you?" The brunette from before asked as she waved to, what could be presumed as, her younger sister. Despite the eagerness in her voice, this young lady was actually know as one of the clumsiest kids in class and to top it off, she always found someway to sleep in past and beyond school hours.

"I know Mari just wait," Alexia yelled before picking up a chameleon which climbed onto her shoulder then going down to we're her sister was, "I just needed to grab Erza."

"Got everything?" 'Mari' asked as soon as the white haired girl walked next to her, the lizard turning black around the girls neck.

"Yep...let's hope I don't get sunburnt though." Alexia exclaimed, it may have sounded like a joke but her skin was so deathly pale that she gets sunburnt quite easily.

After she put on a black hoddie and putting the hood on her head, the two left through the bakery they lived in, saying good-bye to their father and walking down the street with Alexia holding a box of macaroons. "Be glad we managed to get you in my grade sis, so I can help you adjust to your dayly life as a student." Mari smiled as they stopped at a zebra walk.

"They didn't need to go that far for me, I'm not that special." The crimson eyed girl complained as they started walking along the street.

"You've got to be kidding me Alexia, you are the smartest person I know." Mari stated as the two walked upon the front of some stairs, waiting there was two people, one was a girl with auburn eyes and brown hair that fades to a light brown at the end. The other was a boy wearing headphones and had brown eyes, both seemed to be holding hands.

"This is a first girl, your never early." The girl stated after the two Dupain-Cheng's arrived at the stairs, the boy next to her as well asked, "Yeah, and who's the chick beside you." This earned him a elbow to the arm from what could be assumed as his girlfriend.

"Hey Alya and Nino, this is my little sister Alexia, she's the reason why I'm early today, its her first day so I had to accompany her here for the day." Mari explained before turning to said sister and pulling her hoody off and said, "Alexia, these are my best friends Nino and Alya."
