Her bag swung on her shoulder, her music blasting. A small neighbourhood it was, busy but small. Her house showed up on a left, the house was wooden, quite large windows and a drive, no car. Her hand touched her keys, making a firm grip she pulled them up and unlocked the door. A breeze was the first thing she noticed, was the window open? Her hand rested on a radiator, warm. Where was that damn breeze. Her body grew cold as she wondered over to the kitchen. The counter tops were clean, it was indeed a window open, with a hard tug it shut.

Naomi was a quite a short girl, she had blonde hair, short. She was a slim girl, and is quite well known in her high school. She flung her keys down and her bag, the books carelessly shoved into her bag making a small bang throughout the house.

A car gained her attention, parking on the drive way. She could just see her little Brother, Joel, his big smile gleaming and her Mothers smile gleaming as-well. The car doors slammed shut and Joel raced in a wide grin spreading on his face. Usually the house was a dim place to live. Her Mother worked, Joel practiced his stupid football in the back garden but today was different, why was that?

" i made the team!" Joel would scream, laugh and smile. Naomi stared at him with a great amount of confusion as to why he liked football so much.

It was just a bunch of people screaming at each other. A ball being kicked with full force that can cause damage or injuries. She liked rounders, she never made the team since she had fallen over and got stumped out in her last round as the teachers whispered about how clumsy she was. Honestly she  couldn't be bothered to try again, try outs were in a week. Her Mom kept begging her to try out, all her Mom was faced with was a no.

Naomi enjoyed watching the mangata (The reflection of the moon on the water).Sitting on her bed with a book was her nice afternoon, although she despised the endings.
