Darkness consumed Casey's vision. Her bedroom was a whirlwind of pitch black. Besides her, sleeping peacefully, was Izzie. Her hand was lightly pressed against Casey's in a reassuring gesture that showed she still cared about her, in that way.

Casey turned herself, letting her vision fall and adjust to the outline of Izzie's body. Her chest was heaving up and down slowly, like she was in a trance of unconsciousness that could never be bothered.

But Casey, on the other hand, was bothered. Her mind was spinning at the affairs of herself and the girl besides her. She couldn't believe she was just like Elsa.

This thought caused her to grimace, disgusted. But the expression soon faltered as the guilt came rushing back. Her chest felt heavy, like the pressure of a thunder cloud was pressured against her. But that thunder cloud wasn't a thunder cloud, instead, it was a pain and sadness from the unthinkable.

Evan.

"Casey?" Izzie's voice was a croak in the silence, soft, tired. "Are you awake?"

Casey blinked, would she respond? She could just ignore her, continue to wallow in her sorrows. She thought. But she decided against it.

"Yeah."

Izzie scooted closer to Casey, wrapping her arms around the taller girl in reassurance. Her skin was warm, her scent was drowning Casey into a sea of happiness and euphoria. For a moment, the thought went away, the thought of Evan. The thought that she had to break up with one of the only people who's kept her sane. Because she couldn't resist exploring the love she has yet to unravel.

"Why?" Izzie asked after a moment of silence. However, Casey never answered. She just laid there, holding the other girl close to her. Trying to forget about the cloud. Izzie fell asleep in no time, she was too tired, anyway. Too tired to listen to Casey sob about how she has to pick and choose between the two most important people in her life.

How she's going to be heartbroken when she picks Izzie and she sees Evan's tears.

She soon fell asleep, too. Praying that she can forgive herself, that Evan will forgive her.
