I was always interested in having one of those clique relationships; loving boyfriend and given regular doses of love but that's not how my relationship was. That's all false ! A lie that girls like me tend to believe, some lucky enough find that rare guy they 'love', others like me experience the reality of it. See I was hurt, broken and destroyed: only thing left was the left overs he left off me and the label 'was once Jameson's toy'. My name is Jessica Andrews and this is my story.
He's a player, but he's so handsome. Looking down from the huge balcony of the hall, there were many guys, my age and older but by far the one that stood out was him. Connor Jameson, (that name in itself makes me shiver and remember what he did). He was perfect in every way possible and all the girls were attracted to him, but not me ! Well that's what I told myself. He was smart, handsome, kind, gentle: basically every girls dream guy. The 'Prince Charming' we all dream of as little girls.
"Jessy, Kiera" that was Isabelle's voice ! I came back to present and turned at the same time as Kiera did, smiling.
"What are you two looking at ? Who are you checking out ? Ooooh I see, you've both found yourself a bae, finally !" You see both Kiera and me were virgins, I had never had a boyfriend in my life. Guys showed an interest in me but I pushed them away. I was strong natured and had a very fixed and feminist opinion. I found the whole idea of boyfriends wrong, my cousins found me weird and friends too. In their eyes I was a weirdo but I guess I liked it that way, I was happy and isn't that the goal in life to be happy ?
He changed that, he made me an emotional wreck and I was his leftovers, used and abused.
I stuttered and told Belle that I was just looking at the strikingly beautiful flowers in the garden but like anyone else who knew me well, she never believed me. Kiera was behaving funny too, she kept peeking down and behaving in a very unkieraly way. I looked at her and tried to follow her gaze but she quickly looked away and quietly said, "I'm just going to use the bathroom, I'll be right back."
Boy, that was weird she never behaved like this. We were very close friends, I would know. I smiled and nodded, giving her the go ahead and she quickly slipped away. I let my gaze return to where it was originally and must have been looking for a while when, Connor, CONNOR JAMESON looked up and winked at me, then he smirked. I never displayed the effect he had on me and just gave him a once over, smiled and looked away. Not wanting him to have the pleasure of realising he had yet 'another fan'.
