"Ma, I'm taking mimi for a walk!" I shouted to my mum from the front door whilst one hand was holding the lead and the other one stuffing plastic bags into my pocket. It was the end of summer going into autumn, some leaves have already starting changing colour but not yet falling. I waited for her to shout back the usual "okay, be safe" before I shut the door of the house and walk up my drive. it is just about to turn septemeber so i like to go see the highschool I shall be attending soon. It is not far , possibly a 10-15 minute walk since I'm a slow walker. Mimi is my 2 year old doberman , unlike most doberman dogs, mimi is soft and a cuddler. She is what is called a velcro dog and has to be close. she can sense my excitement for this new school when we walk past. So far Ive only really been homeschooled because of my anxiety and fear of getting to close to people. I have my reasons. My fear of people is what caused me to get a doberman, they are good guard dogs. In a few days I shall join this school to help my fears , however that means leaving my only friend behind with my mum. that wont be a problem for Mimi as my mum works from home. My dad on the other hand works as a teacher, not at the school im going , luckily he has the joys of working with younger teenagers.
My name is Rose, I have recently turned 16, so to my adoptive parents im still their little baby. Yeah sadly that is right, adoptive. There is no complicated story behind my past. My mum died at birth and my dad got into a car accident when i was 5. It wasnt his fault, that is all I know. I miss him a lot, he was funny and we had a lot of memories together. On the other hand i now have both parents my mum Anastasia, her friends call her Ana for short. As well as my dad Aidan.
