The Confession

Too often these days we discern by titles, that which do not

define who we truly are-

a scholar for one who just enjoys reading, a public speaker

for one who's orations touch the hearts of their listeners, a lover

for one who does not have a heart for strife.

What is the purpose of understanding, when it can be wrong

or taken out of context-

calling someone a murderer for self-defense, someone a lost

cause when they haven't found the right path, someone a

psychopath when they can't cope with trauma.

Why do we try to love, in a world ruled so strongly by hatred-

to comfort those who suffered loss, to be the hope others have

lost, to fill a void we perceive but don't know.

What's the point? Why do we allow it? God's plan holds glee

and struggle, and why?

We learn from pain, and

pain can only be conquered by

the weak, to make them

stronger. Our weaknesses are

our strengthening

force.

We are beings of

neutrality, striving to combat

our inner darkness. But we must embrace both our Light and Dark to truly be

ourselves. Family, friends, loved ones; They are there. JUST
