And with that, LeiLani shut down the recording and sunk back in her chair. 'Ugh...time for editing. Actually...why don't I take a break from the computer?'

"I do need some food...and should get some warmer clothes for winter coming up..." she murmured to no one in particular.

She cracks her knuckles and stretches, groaning in exhaustion. "I wanna keep playing...it was just getting good, too. Itward took a turn for the better and I wanna keep playing... But I don't wanna burn myself out. Let's just go..." she continues talking, again, to no one in particular.

She gets up, grabs the keys off the table. "Time for shopping...now where's my wallet? Midnight, what did you do to my wallet, you pesky rascal?"

She pushes her blue hair out of her face, adjusts her red glasses, and looks around her room. "Did I leave it out in the truck again...?"

'Why did I think it was a good idea to try leaving out of my parents' house? I can't even take care of my own shit...let alone myself.'

She turns the light off and turns around. She swears she can see the face of the Terrible Black. 'Remor? No, Lei. Get a grip, you've just been playing too much Fran Bow.' She blinks a few times and Remor seemingly disappears. 

She shakes her head and continues out. She unlocks the truck and hops in, checking the glovebox. "There you are," she grins.

She put the keys in the ignition and backs out of her driveway. As she takes off, starting off towards downtown, she drifts into her mind a little bit.

First Person

I look out the window and almost come to a halt at the sign.

I lower my music, despite not wanting to. I can't focus. I turn and see something...someONE too familiar.

I put my focus back on the road and pull into the Walmart car park, turn the truck off, and basically yank the keys out of the ignition.
